  2. Tigers move into the 8 Ops sorry... 9th lol
  3. At some stage in the not to distant future .... the banner will be a 3D hologram. The players will break the plain in a smokey haze
  4. Toby still the No.1 tackler inside 50 averaging 2.50 tackles per match Kozzy nipping at his heals in 2nd on 2.36
  5. Francis .... ughhh
  6. Poor old Fagan trying his best to tear out the little hair he has left after that 50
  7. The Brissy Duckers
  8. Cat's recent loading schedule.... Rnd 11 L = Loading Rnd 12 W = No loading This week L = Loading Next week = Giant Bloody Loading 🙏🏼
  9. The Cat's ability to present options for uncontested marks and players getting from contest to contest has really tappered off after half time. & Power have slowly wrestled the mid field battle their way. Now become a mini avalanche
  10. Been watching / listening to Kingy a bit then?
  11. So Pepper and another Port player are allowed to willingly enter the protected zone straight into the oppos 45 angle area. If he wanted to play on there he's blocked. And they both entered from a fair way out not caught there a split second after the mark was paid. They arent trailing an opponent as their opponent is behind them on the fat side Then in shock they both turned on a dime and exited with hands in the air as if to say "oh sorry... didnt see that" No free on either occasion. The reason the "stand" rule was introduced in the first place was to stop that very thing from happening and pay a 50 immediately it does. So the question then has to be asked.... WHY ARE WE STILL CONTINUING WITH THE STAND RULE? Scrap this BS rule FCS
  12. That is a disputed mark and should've been balled up. Cats are getting reamed also haha.
  13. JHF is a ducker. No diff to Ginniven but keeps gettings frees.
  14. And why is it that the snicko meter often seems to go missing with these interstate games? I would've thought that was the option that determines if it truly cleared the goal post. Not just the eye test 🙄
  15. Loved them all but left out Hibbo's 1 v 1 win vs Lipinski (?) out of the pocket. Think that's the quickest ive seen Hibbo run since ... The crowd went nutz. My other fav was Smithy's run down tackle of Maynard. Could've easily tackled from behind and probs ITB but went alongside instead to make sure there was only one outcome. Clever boy.
  16. Good pick up LG. Fritta may have been asked to help counter the abscence of Clarry & Spargo (mostly Spargo) with kicks / connections inside also? Pitty Melk wasn't able to be utilised here as his ability to offer that connection with last kick inside and even the odd goal around or just inside the arc is handy when on. Also noticed Tracc is looking to connect inside/across using angles the last few weeks. If he was able to ease off the last few steps and weight some of his kicks a little better out in front into space so others can run onto them. Does the hard work to break away from oppos early, which is fabulous, but then continues full tilt mode from there. This often sees him kicking over heads of intended target. The overall effort has been first class from Tracc though and suspect he's upped his contested side somewhat during Clary's abscence? The fatigue factor probably coming into play as a result re: finish & goal accuracy? Has Clarry's abscence helped balance Tracc's game out a little? His game felt a little too much 'outside' for mine prior. Seems to have corrected this somewhat since but would need to check the contested numbers. Hopefully this continues after Clarry's return as i reckon Clazz was probably suffering from burn out a little in his last 4 to 5 matches, with most of the heavy lifiting inisde work being left to him & Viney prior to injury. JJ adds some extra grunt / extraction work around stoppages also and would love to see how we fair with him in (for Spargo?) for a while and see what that brings. Many hands make slightly lighter work and the inclusion of JJ plus better balance from Tracc around stoppage work might help the three big guns (Viney, Clarry & Tracc) stay up & about for a decent tilt in the back half.

  18. I have it on good authority it went down as follows.... MC - "You wanna pizza me!??" CP - "No dinner for you Donald. You from Duckota & your breath is fowl"
  19. I don't see that at all. Most oppos and commentators rate him highly. The fact the Pies had Moore on him for a while yesterday a fair indication of how highly he's rated i would think. Some of his defensive work has gone up a little this season as well if i'm not mistaken. In the statistical player ratings i put up, he was up 20% on his 2022 season rating up to and including the match against the Blues. The only area he's a bit off in (so far) is accuracy at goals vs the last few years. Running @ 52% vs 2022 (62%) & 2021 (63%). if he can get back to 21/22 accuracy he could potentially kick 60 plus!
  20. Seems the donk on the right just discovered he has a middle one and is quite impressed with his ability to flex that new digit
  21. Wow he/she should think themselves lucky. I've heard alot worse than that, even from our supporters Actually the worst language ive heard post the 2006 final against the Saints was two youngish (fried!??) Demon fellas behind me in M3 or may have been on the border (M4) a few years ago pre covid. The worst i've ever heard were the Saints standing room squad in the southern stand in that 2006 eleimination (of Grant Thomas) final. My ears were bleeding by the third but for some reason they dissipated into the night about 20 minutes into the last haha. Three of them left earlier than that courtesy of the Victorian constabulary.
  22. Round 13, 2023 MCG - Demons vs Magpies Team rating was 13% off last season's Rating and 9% off this season's average. The effect of a long half season and quality of the opposition i suspect. Clarry out takes something off also. Or are both teams' form coming off the boil a little? Best guess most likely the former. The two team ratings appearing to reflect what a close match this was (scoreboard wise). Add 4 to 6 goals for us if we happened to have kicked 'ok' and our rating would've jumped ahead somewhat. What a game from Captain courageous, oops i mean Vice Captain courageous! Oh bugger he's just one bloody courageous champ is our Jack. His second time taking out the No.1 mantle so far this season. His other was Anzac eve vs the Tigers in Rnd 6 with a 5.400 His best rating since Rnd 9 2022 vs the Eagles where he posted a 6.550 22 effectives @ 69%, 9 clearances (most on the day), 1 rebound, 6 i50s, 11 tackles (equal best with Crisp) including 3 inside 50 (2nd most of either team to ANB with 4), 7 score involvements (equal best alongside Fritsch & Crisp), 481 meters gained, 1 goal and just 4 turnovers. Vintage Salem & Hibberd in this match and Tomo also very impressive for mine. Very low rating for Hibbo which is so far away from what he achieved on the day. He was rock solid and this rating in no way reflects the value he brought imv and an indication of the game's nuances that need to be seen in person and/or on the box to appreciate. The two concerns in these results... Kozzy posting a consecutive super low result. Last week 0.800 against the Blues. Neither were his lowest this season however, which was Anzac eve with a 0.550 Not sure what happened to the form he showed in Rnd 1. The other is Spargo. His average rating prior to his concussion was 2.131 which was approx 7% up on his 2022 rating. Post concussion he's played 4.5 matches for an average rating of 1.944 That's 8.8% off the pre concussion average. However still only marginally off his 2022 average by only 2%. Wonder if he's still having some issues post concussion? Top 5 Meters Gained (both teams): Hunter 610, Maynard 569, Viney & Crisp 481 and Noble 455. Demons Scoring Efficiency Disposals Per Goal 44.12 % In50s Goal 13.60 Conversion % 30.80 Same Goals as a % of Inside 50s as the previous match against the Blues! 23. If it involves a bit of extra work no need I'll only look to post Oppo player ratings if it's a big top liner opponent like the Pies this week. So will only be occasionally on request if that's easier for you.
  24. Bowey to come in and play Spargo's role? Can't see how he could be any worse given Spargo's form since his return and may add the zip and some classy entries inside 50 hitting up a few more targets. Something we could really do with as most can't hit the side of a barn with that last crucial kick bar Viney (on occasions) and to a lessor degree Lingers & Hunter. He also reads the play well behind the ball on the press adding further intercepts and potential extra connections inside 50 when we do. Clarry obviously straight in for JJ who is again super unlucky. But unless JJ shares the wing wIth Hunter every other match or so who else comes out for him? And can't see the FD doing a shared option. They seem seem pretty settled on Hunter bar injury.
  25. Thanks WO. You wouldn't have hit outs to adv from yesterday for the Pies by any chance?
