  1. I’m so sorry to everyone on Demonland who said Grundy and JJ will help Sydney win a flag.
  2. But everyone would tell you that Longmire is 10 times the coach Goodwin is 🙄
  3. @Adam The God you were right about Sydney being the worst minor premiers in a long time
  4. You would lose your absolute mind watching Daniher play football (RIP Maggie)
  5. Their forwardline is not the issue. Their defense is and their clearance work. No idea why they didn’t play Adams. They have too many outside mids who can’t win their own ball when the heat is on. Grundy has the second most clearances for them currently.
  6. I suspected Brisbane would control clearances and Sydney would struggle to defend their potent forwardline.
  7. Correct. He ran to the mark did not go over it. A horrible horrible 50. So costly.
  8. Terrible 50 but also haha Zorko
  9. Better than Zorko and Berry 🤮
  10. I would rather be soft than a bunch of thugs and sexual predators
  11. Swans for me. For JJ and honestly I would be happy for Grundy too. I despise Brisbane, even tho I don’t mind Fagan. Overall it’s not the worst outcome because Pies Carlton Geelong and Essendon can’t win.
  12. Please take no offense to this, but this is one of the ****test takes on Demonland. Collingwood and Maynard competed so hard post flag they didn’t even make the 8.
  13. I don’t mind this Katy Perry performance. She sounds good and it’s fun and upbeat.
  14. My lack of care is a solid 9.5 out of 10. But let’s go Swans because of JJ and because one of my closest friends is a die hard Swans fan. And also because I despise Brisbane.
  15. What a fantastic turnaround from him given where he was 12 months ago.
  16. Don’t ask questions that will get people banned for answering
  17. Just tell them if Gus' retirement was our fault, then Murphy's retirement was their fault. Simple.
  18. No you couldn't, hence why the guys who sneaked across ended up going to court.
  19. Peatling for mine as he won’t cost us a first round pick as well. And he’s much much younger and fills a midfield need which is greater than our half back needs.
  20. But watching Zorko cry two years in a row would make the pain go away for me 😂
  21. And the silver lining is that I got to watch it with my mum and husband, whereas if the game was at the G it would have just been dad and I watching it together.
  22. When Gawn took that mark and kicked it, I swear that I woke up the whole street with my screaming and crying. I was lying on the floor of our bedroom, unable to watch him take the kick, and as soon as he kicked it my husband said "he got it" and I just yelled so loudly I swear he questioned why he married an insane person. 2021 was a magical time to be a Melbourne supporter, except Covid ruining it.
  23. I was actually my dad's carer during Covid, as my mum doesn't drive and dad needed to get to medical appointments, so technically we did not break the rules. But like hell I was going to miss watching the flag with my dad who I've been going to the footy with for more than 2 decades! I am still salty that WA shut their borders to every state and territory. We were fully prepared to fly to the NT and quarantine before heading over to Perth. Hell we were going to fly to Perth and quarantine for 2 weeks and risk not winning the prelim. We even looked at flying to Singapore, quarantining and then flying into WA for the grand final. I would have walked on broken glass to be there in person.
  24. After Fritsch kicked the goal that started our comeback, I refused to sit down for the rest of the night. I paced around the living room and clocked in close to 8000 steps by the time the game ended. With 4 minutes left my dad said we should open the champagne (a very expensive bottle we got as a wedding present) and I yelled at him “DO NOT JINX US WE CAN STILL LOSE”. I then proceeded to drink half that bottle and order $700 worth of merch 🫠 My favourite photo of the night was one my husband took of my dad and I hugging post game. We were both in tears. Even my mum who cares so little about football was crying!
  25. My multiple cheese boards have been used many times… and no I definitely didn’t order two while a little tipsy post game and then got a third one from my MIL 😂
