  1. Chandler top 10, proving once again that Demonlanders don’t know what roles players are asked to play. Half of this site is constantly calling for him to be dropped. I crown thee “the next ANB”.
  2. Jack: “not sure if you read the papers, but bit going on at our club at the moment” 😂
  3. I’m surprised by this result if I’m being honest. But what do I know? I’ve been drunk since round 24 trying to cope with being a Melbourne supporter
  4. He’s not a good public speaker. Never has been. Also if you’re not drunk after the last 3 weeks, you’re doing it wrong
  5. Thought it was fantastic telling the players to stop and smell the roses. Too much whining and bitchin going on at this club. Not enough appreciation for playing for the mighty Dees.
  6. There will never be another Gus Brayshaw. A brilliant player, leader, and human. ❤️💙 (And also [censored] you Maynard you absolute piece of trash)
  7. It's a sad [censored] day when you are agreeing with Kane Cornes
  8. While I appreciate that there are posters on here who have ADD and other mental health issues, I really think that unless you are privy to Clarry’s personal medical history, you shouldn’t be commenting on what he is dealing with. It is completely inappropriate, and in the wrong hands, can be really harmful.
  9. Live scene from the MFC
  10. I hear Pert rang Geelong to see if they want to trade for him
  11. Server will crash 2 minutes in, with the amount of people tuning in to the next episode of "MFC - our life in shambles".
  12. It’s ok. I understand where you’re coming from. Trust me nobody is more aware of Clarry’s issues. Whichever way you look at it tho, the club has handled this appallingly. It’s just another f up in a long list of f ups from the management team of this club. Which has why I keep saying that getting rid of Clarry, doesn’t magically fix all that is broken at this club.
  13. I never accused them of not supporting him. I know they supported him. But those are two different things. Managing someone like Clarry and not letting it be a distraction, a media sensation, or cause division in the team, is a skill that some clubs have and some don't.
  14. You do realise that requesting a trade, and being granted one, are not one of the same right? He's contracted. He might want to leave, and he might also be told no. Same as Trac.
  15. I assume Houston.
  16. Maybe the problem is not having a player who needs babysitting, but a club that doesn't know how to babysit. You and I know very well that there are dozens of players across the league currently being babysat by their clubs. Including at Geelong, who are opening their doors to Bailey Smith, who believe me, is as much of a distraction machine as Clarry is. But if Pies can babysit De Goey, Hawks can babysit Ginnivan, and GWS were able to turn around Hogan, then Melbourne should be able to handle Clarry.
  17. Of course the star. He’s had many more years of being a star, than being just an ok player. He had a poor year mainly due to his lack of fitness and injuries, where he still was firmly in our best 22. If we were trading him and getting a good player in return, that’s an entirely different proposition. But to trade him for very little, is a catastrophic list management decision that should come as the absolute very last resort. Not after 18 bad months in a career of 8 years that’s been a roaring success. And by the way, if people think Clarry has gone from a Bible study nerd to a problem child in the last 18 months, then they’re wrong. He’s always had challenges, even when he was winning back to back AAs, B&Fs and coaches awards.
  18. Remember this: trading Clarry for a packet of stale chips is always an option. Finding another talent like Clarry, is not.
  19. Come on now, it’s the “Trac never wanted out, it’s just a media stunt” all over again.
  20. What a disgusting mismanagement of a HUMAN BEING! As I said yesterday, you cannot use Clarry as a pawn in some sick game to make yourself appear to be fixing our culture. You are dealing with someone who loves and is committed to this club, or at least was, who is struggling with his mental health. You play with him, saying we want you, while also shopping him around, deluded to think he won’t find out. His management team, the same team who manages one C Petracca, must be shaking their head in disgusting. And all the while, you wonder why nobody wants to come to this club, or why our culture stinks. This is why it stinks. You can trade away 1, 10, 44 players, but if the clowns running this circus remain, then guess what? The culture will continue to stink!
  21. And now we made him want to leave, and have gone from having clubs offer 2 first round picks (according to you a month ago), to Geelong offering us a bag of stale chips instead.
  22. Does this mean we will get fair value now? Or that we’ve given up on that idea and willing to sell for way less than Clarry is worth?
  23. To say we’ve had enough of Clarry is one thing. To use him as a pawn in a game of power struggle between the CEO/board and the FD, in some deluded attempt to be seen as “getting serious about our culture” is another. You can’t ask someone who’s struggling with serious health issues to sort themselves out, but then hold every small indiscretion against them along the way. Recovery is never linear. You either accept them, warts and all, or you don’t. But you absolutely do not dangle them like they’re a piece of meat at an all you can eat buffet, for your own convenience. We can’t keep throwing him on the table and threaten to give him away. We are like the boy who cried wolf at this point. Hard to find a more shambolic football club than this one
