I’d argue that given the Dogs form at the MCG, and given we would have had far more support on the day given the MCC is so heavily stacked with Melbourne supporters, we would have won comprehensively against the Dogs at the G too. To suggest 2021 was a Covid flag is just wrong. It was full games, full quarters, not one single game was shortened or missed. Just because not every player feels the need to advertise their every move, doesn't mean other players are not actively working on improving their fitness or going on their own training camp. He had a really horrible run when he was with us. Losing his dad and getting cancer. Doesn’t get much worse for a 21 year old. Seeing him succeed now is really nice to see. Really can’t see how you’d begrudge him.
