Not surprising. Before Kent tore his hammy they were a formidable duo and had a good on field partnership. I think losing Kent has really hurt us. He's very important to our structure and I hope this injury set back doesn't take away from his speed and power. Those two beasts will make opponents cry for years to come.

I dunno what you expect him to say, because if he said anything else it would be a lie. He's 20. How is he to know where his career will take him? As long as he's happy to sign on, that's all we can expect. If we continue to dwindle at the bottom quarter of the ladder, he won't stay, and neither will those young teammates he loves. But he recognises that it is up to them to move us up the ladder, and if that happens, I can't see why he'd leave. We will never not have enough cash to pay him. It's simply about success, which is 100% what Brayshaw, Viney, Petracca, Salem and so on all think too, and would say the same thing if they were interviewed about their future every 3 days like Hogan is.

Do we think Hogan is a fair chance to take out the best 1st year player award?
