Please don’t get me wrong. Our players are pea hearted headless chickens today. Absolute rubbish from them. I can’t even start with how bad some of them are at football. Basic skills evade them. But 4 years in and Goodwin is still making bad selection decisions, poor match day moves and he still struggles to have us stem the flow when things go against us And I’m disappointed with Gawn. Captain needs to stand up. Talk and lead with your voice

Correct. Coaches are responsible for how teams play. Cohesion, confidence in each other, knowing your role and turning up and being able to absorb pressure. That is the job of a coach. He has done nothing to fix or stem this disaster which you could see coming after two minutes. Not for the first time we have folded under perceived and physical pressure.

We weren’t good against St Kilda. We broke even at best and had two match winners drag us over the line. Just. Today nobody is playing a team game. Players running into each other, too many contesting for every ball, no support or defensive pressure. We are downhill skiers. We are playing one of the best defensive sides in the competition. They are 16th for crying out loud and are playing with more pressure and intent than we have all season.

And yet people want to keep supporting the witches hat in the box.

The best thing that can happen to this club is missing finals so we can stop being a joke and do something.

Seriously what a joke this team and coach is. The day we get a coach who can get this team sorted mentally is going to be a good day.
