Tom “the Titanic” McDonald is warming the bench for Jackson and Gawn. He will be a backup for those two until he retires unless he magically finds some athleticism in his sock draw.

As I have said all along, when Gus is playing well we are a significantly better side. He is a wonderful user of the footy both by hand and foot and is a great reader of the play. We are better when Gus is in the trenches. End of story. If you trade him we better get a 60 goal a season forward or an AA CHB.

Did very well against the second best ruckman in the competition. It helps when your training partner is the best ruck in the comp I guess. Took his chances. And I thought his work around the ground to nullify Grundy was very good.

If he keeps taking out opposition players every week, he stays.
