  1. Yeah Older demon imgur.com is a great site. First you will need to open an account, it's free and pretty easy to setup. Then upload your photos to imgur, keep in mind the size of the images. Next you can do one of two things, you can post a link to the imgur gallery, or you can attach the individual images URL via the image button on the menu bar on the post window. Good luck.
  2. No it was closer to one and half hours, and if your happy with a second rate organisation that treats it's supporters with contempt then good on you. Me I actually think the club needs to understand it's obligation toward it's supporters.
  3. Don't worry I already have. The following email sent earlier today. To whom it may concern May I suggest that when you publish a start time of 12:00 for a open training session you stick to it.Today I sat and waited for nearly an hour and a half for the main training session to begin.Yes you updated the start time on twitter at 11:00am but I and I assume many others were already in transit by then. I watched supporters turn away and leave before the main session began, including many families with small children .This is not rocket science. It is time this organisation started to treat it’s supporters with some respect instead of the contempt that we are all too frequently served up. You plead for 35K signed members before round one, yet offered up todays effort. Seriously unprofessional MFC. Yours Sincerely
  4. I think it's perfectly reasonable to be P'D off by todays efforts. Waiting around for an hour and half for your team to turn up is just poor public relations. In a highly competitive market like the AFL it is imperative to look after your supporter base. Today the club dramatically failed to do this. On the training side of things I couldn't help be impressed with Toumpas. Didn't miss a target all day and looks quick. Salem may just be the best kick in the side alongside Watts. I was also super impressed with The Prince whose intensity during all the drills was outstanding. I thought Max King had a good session today, for a big guy he's a beautiful kick.
  5. Are you seriously suggesting that it's ok for the Club to treat it's most loyal and committed supporters / customers with contempt. I was there today and it was a shambles.
  6. Sitting here waiting for the team to turn up, can't help but think that this club really does treat it's supporters with a degree of contempt. Waiting for well over an hour now.
  7. I think you might be right ET. Anyway here are some more shots from the day. Just on todays session this is the first I have seen this year. Ironically I got cleaned up on my way home from the last session I attended just prior to Christmas. Being rear ended is never fun but when your on a motorbike it goes to a whole new level. As you would expect the standard has improved over that period but I was genuinely impressed by how much. To be honest I'm not much of a judge but to me the entire group appeared noticeably quicker.
  8. Spencil having a snap Oscar Mac vs Gawn
  9. I think the first one is Vandenberg, the other I have no idea.
  10. Does anybody know how to post photo's here. I have uploaded some shots to flickr but don't know how to find the URL so I can post the images on demonland. Bit of a techno klutz unfortunately.
  11. I don't think Fitzy looks that skinny. Unless he's lost weight from last year.
  12. In an increasingly mercenary world It's so nice to see someone who still espouses old fashioned values such as loyalty, dedication and commitment. Nathan Jones you are an individual of the highest order, and I am so proud that you are the captain of the team I love.
  13. The coverage of the game has improved considerably since 1906, with one exception, the commentary. I much prefer the 1906 variety.
  14. Thanks rjay. It's true internal expectation can be as crippling as external criticism. I just hope like hell he doesn't read demonland to garner wisdom or advice. As I said before I really want to see this kid to do well.
  15. I Wasn't implying anything, just curious that he hadn't been in a "good place". For all I know he could be referencing Gastro, thus my enquiry.
  16. Toumpas put Nathan Jones to the sword when they were running (sprinting) in one of the drills, spoke to him afterwards, is in a really good place finally. Thanks for the report Saty, much appreciated. I am a little surprised that the Toump was having troubles (off field), can you elaborate? I really rate this kid and would love him kick on.
  17. Sensational post ash. Such great memories and so good to see the Rev in obvious high spirits, thank you.
  18. Thanks grapeviney for the memories. Sensational player and not a bad team.
  19. Ridiculous post. You have used logic and considered reasoning to substantiate an argument. What were you thinking? You should have gone off like a rabid Rottweiler instead. Logic and common sense have no place in these forums.
  20. Being a commodity won't make a player back into a descending pack of players. It's a nonsense argument put forward by people with a limited understanding of the human psyche. Footballers play for the love of the game, for the cameraderie and acceptance of the group and some for the club that they love. And as such Club culture is created and enhanced and built upon. It amazes me that on these forums people talk of culture (or in our case lack of ),with little or no understanding of the concept. Culture cannot be bought and cannot exist by decreed. Excellent post Delta.
  21. Just a quality kid ! If there is any justice in this world he will make a full recovery and show the football what he can do. Hopefully in the red and blue.
  22. I don't barrack for a business. I don't go to the football to follow a corporate entity. I don't sit in the rain on a freezing Sunday evening watching my investments go around. I follow the young men who wear the Red and the Blue. Simplistically I expect their loyalty and in return they will have mine. When they prove beyond doubt their love for the colours that I I adore, I expect my club to treat them with the respect and loyalty that they deserve. In many ways Trengove has put the clubs interests before his own, and has suffered the consequences. Players of this calibre are very rare indeed and their worth cannot be underestimated. Jimmy Mac was one such player and I believe Jack Trengove is another. Lets not make the same mistake twice. The biggest myth of all is that Football is a business. Football is not a business. Football is a passion and passion is not a tradable commodity that can be bought and sold. Jack Trengove has an undeniable passion for the Melbourne Football Club and Jack Trengove deserves our loyalty.
