I was going to say bring Pencil in but I tend to agree with you about Fitzpatrick Bring him in as the mobile tall and let him play the majority of the game down forward. Only problem is Stef looks like he needs a rest after 3 minutes of rucking.

Mitch is a full forward. Jamar's form is up and down around the grounds but his actual ruck work is pretty consistent. We would have won yesterday simply on clearance's. There ruckman hadn't had a touch until the opening bounce of the 2nd quarter when Jamar was off injured. What we need to do is find a spot for Stef in the forward line while Jamar is in the ruck and while Mitch is kicking goals as a Full forward all day.

Last year we drew with sydney and defeated a [censored] poor Brisbane, a first year club in GC, A club that wouldn't play for their coach (Adelaide),the bombers as they are our [censored], The tigers who were our equal,Port adelaide who were being touted as the worst team since Fitzroy and Freo who were ravaged with injuries. Our wins were over rated. We finished 13th only above Adelaide who sacked their coach a Brisbane team who tried to steal a flag and backfired with Mature players and Fevola issues. Port who were awful and a first year team. Wow what a season. We were flat track bullies against the dud sides any sides who were even with us in talent Tigers,bulldogs and North we struggled against. We were going no where fast. 2011 had many more bad teams then 2012 has.

Agree. With the heavy pre season trying to gain elite fitness and total over haul of gameplans,leadership,coaching staff and probably at the end of the year players Neeld and co are attempting to have a tilt at flags not finishing in the middle of the road every year. The bloke has balls I'll give him that. Especially in the first half of the year he was copping criticism from all corners and is sticking to his guns.

Our facilities have been reported to be pretty good unless you have been down there lately maybe you could give some in depth knowledge into that instead of spewing up rhetoric you have probably heard from Greg Denhim. Good effort by Stef he is showing he is a genuine forward/2nd ruck. Jamar was smashing them in the clearances in the 1st. Just ran out of legs and the hard pre season is taking it's toll but I believe we will see more injuries next year until ultimate fitness is reached by the group. There will be casualties along the way but we will get to an a grade fitness.

With the crowd size today it could be played at a train station.

I want to see ricky and Green forward and not pushing so far up with the press. I know it's modern footy but Mitch was the only forward who would lead up and take a mark. Ricky and Green can both do this. They are dangerous forwards.

It's not that unlucky with our fitness regime being ramped up the same has happened to the bombers. In the end it is all for the greater good I suppose.

Seems players being pushed in the pre season is biting us a bit but it's a fine line you play with trying to obtain elite fitness tough luck flash.

Are you serious? You have to be joking when you say some things look more attractive this weekend? What could be more attractive then watching the dee's at a ground where we historically play really well? What about how good a brand of football we are playing? Everyone I talk to just wants to come to games to see Bail's pin point passes and Trengove's lightning speed. Don't forget the opposition either they are a volcano of excitement waiting to erupt. Their coach understands the significance of playing a attractive style of footy to entertain the fans. For me I can't wait to go and scan my premium reserved seat membership which I pay for every year and then have to sit in a General Admission seat. BRING IT ON!

He would have more of a chance of sudden impact because he would be playing straight away. Or we could wait for players to develop because they weigh in at the size of a laptop. Then they finally get to size and we find out they suck. So that's 2-4 years wasted on a key forward and then we have to draft another skinny kid and that's another 2-4 years we have to wait.

I agree about his kicking but he could be a monster when he is 19 years old. Imagine not having to wait for someone's body to develop and they can slot right in and play for the dee's. There would be no more Lucas cook or jack watts style threads around here though so it may go quite at demonland.

Bloody hell by the title of the thread I thought he was gone. I have said it here before Jack Viney and all other players are not just draft pick numbers they are Human. Viney doesn't love the club that much that he is willing to jeopardise his career for our interests. You let a kid go and to another club and generally they find they love the place even if it is interstate (Dangerfield). If this strategy was plausible we could tell Sylvia,Howe,T.Mcdonald,Blease and any other player with some currency at our club to take a trade, we get the picks ask them to play like crap and then we trade them back for bugger all.

Totally agree. I think we all need a reminder every now and then on the cost and time that is involved in keeping the Demonland world turning. When I first joined I was completely ignorant to these facts. I don't think anyone would have a problem with a yearly reminder and then pledge of anything they can.
