  1. It was mentioned just then in an ad for the 10pm news I think.
  2. It's Scully, and he isn't an MFC player.
  3. It's Scully, and he isn't an MFC player.
  4. Hold your horses, apparently Moloney 'isn't gone yet'. Clark and Howe, good suggestions!
  5. Already a thread..
  6. Not a great year for Trengove but he was consistent and it's a struggle to find more than five that were better IMO. And it's pretty sad.
  7. Jurrah could be, just have to get him out there.
  8. Lol not sure he has that in him. Maybe they can pay Jake King to beat him senseless until he starts to fight back?
  9. We can stand for hard work, discipline and earning back that pride in the jumper. 2012 and the darkest days are behind us - I truly believe that.
  10. Neeld seems to love McKenzie and he had a pretty good year so I wouldn't be surprised to see him up there. Jones Grimes Howe Trengove McKenzie
  11. So you don't think they are desperate, and have a desire to work hard to play in the AFL? A year or two out from the draft really shows which players have the desire to play at the highest level - some work their arse off in the VFL to earn a rookie spot while others give it up and get on with their lives. Magner and Couch are the former IMO.
  12. At 87kg though you can hardly compare him to those guys, who were all around the 100kg mark. If he weren't behind Lynch, Kennedy and the resting ruckman, he wouldn't be setting the world on fire. But of course, I'd still be very happy to go back to that draft and swap around the names on BP's drafting sheet.
  13. I agree that subtle change can work but I think we have to be more brutal, a la Hardwick and Richmond a couple of years ago. Enjoy the red.
  14. It is worse than poor at the moment. They are some big names and of course it will look a lot better with players like that, but getting all three of those guys is not really feasible, but we can dream! Hopefully with some good drafting, sensible delistings and trading and a couple of free agents we can turn it around pretty quickly.
  15. Apologies, by people I mean supporters and as supporters we don't have anywhere near as much control over the management of the list as RR suggests.
  16. Mate it is in the open - I don't think you will find an MFC supporter in the entire world who will tell you we have a good list. You are just continually shoving it under peoples noses unnecessarily. Changes will be made, so just have a bit of patience for a few months.
  17. So tell me, how do you explain the losses then? If you are going to say 'poor footballers', I think people realise we have a poor list. Acknowledging rubbish skills, crap efforts and poor fitness is acknowledging that the players aren't doing it for us. It's not rocket science and it doesn't take a million stupid threads and polls to bring to attention - people know this already!
  18. Forgot to add Couch and Magner.. they fit the bracket!
  19. Liking the recruiting under Neeld so far. Clark has obviously been a big success (up until the injury), Seller deserves another year and has looked pretty good in spots, Taggert had something special about him in the little game time I saw him play (pace, strength and penetrating kicking) and Tynan looks like he has great upside. Can't help notice the difference in body types as opposed to the recruiting under Bailey and earlier.
  20. Would be good to see but I want to see him rotating deep forward, to utilize his marking. I think he has the ability to kick goals every week if he was given the chance playing at FF.
  21. He's a rookie so pretty sure he can't be traded and shouldn't be delisted.
  22. I thought this was sarcasm... then I realised
  23. God... this season has really messed with your head RR. The quality of what you post has dropped tenfold and the pointless threads (which are all along the same lines) are just getting out of hand. Could you add a bit more to the discussion, like what to do about the issue you bring up? Because if you are 'demanding' big list cuts, that's unnecessary because with 11 players out of contract and talks on hold, its pretty obvious that there are going to be changes. And when there is a large cull, please don't claim that your endless threads and polls swayed the list management team.
  24. Don't be concerned about Strauss, coming back from a leg break like that will take a bit of time and I think he handled himself pretty well in the few games he played. Tapscott is a concern but the other two aren't because I don't think they'll be around much longer.
  25. Not every player will be a complete package; every one has their flaws and Bail's (kicking) is probably one of the most easily fixed. Much more easy than teaching a player to be a maniac at the contest, which he is already. Definitely hang on to him before many others... plus Neeld seems to like Rohan.
