  1. Very happy to not be reliant on the proceeds of gambling. Fingers crossed there is something big in the pipeline re home base.
  2. 100%, I noticed that too. The mental strength of our youngsters is so impressive.
  3. They sook about the umpiring but they got at least two goals from trash/non calls - the Harry Jones one which was clearly over the line and the one that Peter Wright snapped, which was thrown to him off the ground, clear as daylight.
  4. Many have a rest before Spargo! Kozzie might be the one, even if it's just a breather for a week or two to make sure he's fresh for finals. Though they have just had the bye.
  5. When Dogga tried to dribble that one through from about 15m out… drop punt son!!
  6. A much celebrated comment from Bombers Bigfooty: Stinger was eyeballing ump 14 at the end of the game then What's he gonna do? Cheat on his missus with him?
  7. We've lost all the polish we had earlier in the year and that was a tough game to watch. The good thing is that tough games to watch used to be 10 goal losses! Need to have our down period now and kick back into gear before finals. Essendon supporters are the biggest bunch of whinging [censored], what an embarrassment.
  8. The poor mans Richmond supporter.
  9. If our forwards are dollar shop they picked theirs up from the tip!
  10. Don't worry, it'll be 15% capacity but they'll be sure to pack everyone in together!
  11. Extremely soft. Would love to see the Roos get up here!
  12. We simply didn't work hard enough around the entire ground, the ground had a very minimal effect IMO. 99% above the ears.
  13. Didn't look interested all afternoon. Work rate was down immensely on the rest of the season. Fumbled, looked uncharacteristically panicked, made very poor choices under pressure. Looked like we need the bye more than originally thought.
  14. I see Bucks is using the Collingwood forums as a sounding board again.
  15. I tend to agree with you, was just adding to Macca's earlier post that there had been previous examples. I personally think that two, with Jackson and Gawn rotating through is more than enough. If our forward line was entirely dysfunctional, playing the three of them in the same side is something I'd advocate trying.
  16. Brisbane did it too with Brown, Bradshaw and Lynch. Worked pretty well for them!
  17. Brian Taylor - [censored] for brains
  18. If they want I'll pop down to training and present one of them with my Div 3 ressies jumper... the coveted number 134.
  19. That would be a very smart move IMO.
  20. Probably my favourite opposition player ever but no, I don't think you can take on a 37 year old as insurance.
  21. As Swooper mentioned earlier, it's the nature of his position that his poor games are going to be very poor. He doesn't exactly have the versatility to play in other parts of the ground and if we shift him out of the forward line, we lose a dimension in attack.
  22. Jeez I had no idea Breust had kicked that many. Good on him!
  23. He definitely impacted a ton of contests and got first hands on the ball plenty of times. Just needed to stick more of those marks. Those two goals he kicked though were so important in the context of the game. Definitely keeps his spot IMO.
  24. Glad to hear that! A lot can happen in a week, I think we'll come out pretty hungry tonight and it'll be a very close contest. Expect our backline to really have the wood over their forwards. Midfield could be a worry though.
  25. So it's 100% still happening? I think I'll be sceptical right up until they bounce the ball...
