God hasn’t melksham had a free ride this season. FMD he has been in putrid form all season and never dropped but promoted to captain temporarily. Another awesome decision by Goodwin.

Last season I remember going to a Bullets v Cairns basketball game and the bullets had to win by 33 points (I think Or there about) in the last game to have a chance to get into finals. We won by about 35 and it was one of the best games I have seen live The cairns coach did his part to and benched his best players for long periods of the game which was great In the end though we didn’t make finals as we had to rely on other teams to lose which didn’t happen It never a good position to be in to rely on other teams to lose so that our team gets through.

This would have been a good slogan for the Swans and Freo games. This is the problem with our club after 4 years of goody coaching we STILL don’t know what Melb side will turn up. It’s pathetic and says it all about our coaching Dept.

Lions in their 3 peat had numerous mid fielders and rotated them. A good coach finds a way to work to the players strengths. When a coach can’t figure it out that does my head in as they are being waste playing out of position.

FFS can goody play him in his right position as a midfield tagger and rotate the mids to F50. Harmes is a beast in this role and use a player to what their strengths are. It bloody common sense ffs. I HAVE BEEN SAYING THIS ALL SEASON AND IT REALLY PISES ME OFF. Goodwin has a lot to answer for with his selections and playing players out of position. If it doesn’t work then STOP doing it but no our genius coach does otherwise.

We have beaten 2 decent sides in the top 8 which doesn’t fill me with confidence. If we make the 8 it will be because the dogs have lost which I don’t think will happen and we won against the dons. Goody has had 4 years at the helm and we shouldn’t be a “fringe” team, we should have cemented our spot in the 8 by this stage of the season with the list we have. With finals on the line we shouldn’t have lost to Sydney or freo either.

We won’t make it and don’t deserve to make it tbh. When u lose to 2 bottom 4 teams u won’t be playing finals. Whoever gets the 8th spot will most likely be playing WC in Perth so good luck with that. The finals birth will be short lived for that team.

A small step forward and a WIP. WTF I thought he had been coach for 4 yrs. This is a huge indictment on Goodwin as we should be we and truely past this. Goodwin seems to have his “L’s” on and it shows with the way we are playing. Losing to swans and freo is inexcusable. You watch the bulldogs win their last 2 and make finals. We had the opportunity to be in control of our own destiny but with a learner coach we have to rely on a other teams to lose which I doubt very much will happen. The worst thing on top of missing the finals will be that he will probably be there next year and we will have to endure another wasted season.

He has been coached by a rookie coach who has been and continues to be learning on the job rather than continuing to be coached an an experienced coach.

So u ended up going GC. Must admit I was pleasantly surprised with the result.

About the only good thing milkshake has done all season.

There wasn’t a huge crowd but we were pretty vocal. The players even acknowledged us at the end of the game which was the first time that has happened this season which was good to see.

When we kicked out from their behinds It was the same way nearly every bloody time. There was also not much movement from our players or quick kick ins. This has been happening for a fair while now and needs to change but I’m not sure Goodwin sees it.

Good to win but geez it makes the last 2 losses against bottom place teams all that much harder to swallow. We are still a long way off finals like footy imo.

He has done nothing all season but is good mates with goody so it’s ok and was made stand in captain due to his great form this season. Another quality decision by goody. He is full of them ?

Yep you would think in the time he was with us that he would think this isn’t working how I would like maybe I should change a thing or two but not this genius.
