Hoped in the car & was listening to the SEN commentary team speak on this. Had me thinking Kozzy had really made a mess of More with a serious hit - 3 weeks at least seemed to be the teams conclusion. Watched it back & was like “ohh… was that it?”🤔😂 Could honestly be anything from 0 to 3 weeks because of course, it’s Kozzy smh. -
Bailey Fritsch is an elite finisher around goal - but unfortunately that is all. Don’t be fooled by the aesthetics of his kicking style, because his field kicking & decision making is rubbish for a guy so talented. Doesn't chase or tackle with intent. No team first mentality & would rather do the miraculous highlight instead of what’s best for the team. Becoming increasingly frustrated with this bloke & it’s only because we all know what he could be if he improved on the above.

I’m hearing you mate, but the reality is we still lost & have continued losing & it’s almost always comes down to the pressure of taking your chance to win and burry a game when the opportunity presents. We just don’t seem to have the capacity to do so anymore. & I reckon teams know it. Their supporters know it & most importantly, our players know it now too…

Don’t think it’s limited to the pies. This is a certified issue against big teams with big crowds in big matches. When was the last big game we won against a big vic team with a big crowd? Been awhile now guys… & I think it’s absolutely all between the ears tbh.

I actually don’t know why Billing’s gets a game for this club. This bloke was brought in to help our efficiency going forward? Kidding me? Why in the world would he kick that ball back to Tomlinson further out in a worse position. Any decent footy player could see that the switch wasn’t going to do anything because the way port were set defensively. pretty much anyone but him tbh

With respect mate, you’ve been a tad obsessed with this Jeffo talk of late Picket. The kids finally finding his feet & starting to play some nice consistent footy. Why the rush? & especially how the forward line seems to be functioning the past couple weeks. The only time is see Jeffo debuting is if & when we’re out of the finals race. & the longer he’s not in the one’s the better it would seem we’re going. All things going well, he gets to build his case over a strong pre-season with a chance to impress for an early debut in 25’

Cleary a mindset thing. Can’t tell me anything different. Played like we thought the win would just eventually come. One team came out & played as a team & the other came out hoping someone else would do the hard work to get them over the line. Serious teams don’t come out & lose to teams at the other end of the scale like tonight. Because we are a serious team, right? We play the way we do because we don’t have cattle to play a more expansive game. Defend, defend, defend until you bore the other team to oblivion is what we’re about. Most uninspiring game plan.

Bailey Fritsch was embarrassing tonight. Another game where he wasn’t committed to the defensive side of the game when that’s the DNA of our team - Contest & Defence. Pretending to tackle by throwing an arm out, no intent to apply pressure, constantly playing out the back & behind he’s opponent. But look out when there’s a chance to kick a snag! Ffs… Glad Goody benched him after that laconic effort late in the 4th. I love Fritsch & the clinical forward brilliance of the man, but you have to apply more defensive intent when it’s your time to go.
