  1. All I know is his movement / agility @ 2:15 at his height is real impressive https://youtu.be/F23yb5s3CzQ?si=C74CPaBhRVzHDk3_ Maybe dogga can stay in Perth after all
  2. Yeah no probs👍 Always appreciated
  3. Wow… Sharp wasn’t moving like a guy that will be out for another 2 months+ 🤷‍♂️
  4. I won’t lie roost, I did think about my cutters an unhealthy amount of times.
  5. Cheers Stinga, gates were locked mate so unfortunately from behind the fence.
  6. Absolute peach of a morning down @ Casey. Got in @ 10am & from the looks of it, the boys were already well into the session. Left just after 12pm & the boys were still out there busting a gut with some team sprints. Here’s what I saw. Rehabbers: Viney - walks & short slow jogs with trainer along the boundary. Looks to be favouring one side as he runs? Seems some way away from main training. Wasn’t there long. Mihocek - 80 - 100m run throughs boundary side @ a decent pace. Was doing so for about an hour. Wasn’t involved with the main group. Mathews - kick to kick with trainer. Trainer then kicking to a leading Mathews out the goal square. Rinse and repeat. Joined all the main running drills & moving well but wasn’t included in any other team footy drills. Edging closer from that PCL it seems. Sharp - not sure why he was in rehab today. A heap of kick to kick with trainer & boundary side running & at a very good clip to. Didn’t seem impeded in any way. Wasn’t involved in any team footy drills. Melksham - was a mix of main group & rehab. Looks fine. AMW - mix up between main group & rehab but was more so in the main group. Looking fit & obviously nearing full training very soon. It’s about 11 months since his ACL. Steven May, Xavier Taylor & Shane McAdam all unsighted. Drill observations: Quick ball movement. Everything done at pace. Windsor looking sharp & light on his feet. Kozzy dangerous. Always. 10v8: goal is to transition the ball from deep in defence to the other end of the park ending in a goal. Clear that we want to move the ball at pace. 5v5: stoppage scenario. Random ball up across the middle of the ground. Win ball & transition the ball to goal as best possible. Good to see the skipper out here training fully. Lindsay looking sharp. Trained fully. Culley strong in the contest. Gets through tackles. Needs to tidy up in-play skills. More full ground transition works from the back half to FF. This time, transitioning / switching down the flanks towards goal. Groups of 3&4’s running the boundary at a good clip. Slow pace for the first 20secs then fast pace for the next 30 or so. 3x groups of 7v7 - concentrating on a more controlled transition play. Match Sim: 5min periods at a time. Saw I reckon about 5 of these. All rehabbers sitting this one out Roo presenting well. Getting involved as a high half forward Kolt looking better today. More of a connector high half forward role, taking marks & hitting up inside F50 CJ looking in good touch. Dancing through traffic & delivering the pill well & very considered. Culley with the contested mark 30m out. Set shot goal. Can’t question his contested & aerial game. Turner v Roo - turner with the contested mark win deep in defence. Trelly bobbing & weaving out of traffic in defence… but then caught. Fritta converts the holding the ball free. Unlucky, but welcome to AFL. Good to see our defensive stocks are looking fit & settled. Rick, Petty, Disco, Salo, TMac & CJ. Bloody hell bowser is a loss though. Harvey getting busy. Sparrow just seems a lot more sure with his decision making this pre season. Less is more works better for him I think. Thats all from me folks 🔴🔵
  7. Looking fine to me mate. Training fully today
  8. Yeah keen as on Culley. Been a stand out in match sim. Just looks super confident
  9. FWIW I played both sports - re Soccer, i represented the country. Played footy for a very successful EFL club. Personally I found footy pre-seasons much harder, but I found game day soccer aerobically harder than game day footy.
  10. Good call. Yeah they're my early tip for the flag
  11. Jake Melksham‘s a star isn’t he. Idk, got coach written all over him.
  12. Yeah gut feel is that trac will blitz it. Like pre injury trac. All between the ears with him. Wonder what his mental state’s like post dees? Gets that right & he’ll get back in brownlow conversations. Best possible way to further enhance “brand trac” (as they say) would be to get back to playing at superstar levels, right? Cristian Petracca is a very talented, determined, driven young man. Mix that with genuine premiership hope & you've got yourself one hell of a Combo!
  13. Would’ve been Gus. & what an inspirational skipper he would’ve been In the prime of his [censored] career [censored] hell man.
  14. I still think it’s Levers to lose. The only thing that’s preventing him from being next skip would be his body, really. If he has a good pre season, gets confident in his body again, stays on the bloody park & can play good footy again then he’ll be an absolute shoe in after Max.
  15. Was speaking to a dad today whose son has played with Tom through junior footy & gippy power past couple years. Says the kid’s a ripper. Genuine small who knows where the sticks are & loves it. Seen him kick some freak goals over the journey. Reckons he’s an elite snap of the footy for goal, better than his set shot.
  16. Yeah of course, if his knee’s all goods
  17. Sorry Andy, may have missed this, but did Max actually do a hammy?
  18. Mmmm an annoying loss this which is going to mess with an important part of his pre season now. Without Judd, an ageing Salem & AMV coming off an ACL, we’re pretty thin now regards our smalls down back. Xavier Taylor can play small / tall & has an attacking nature as Bowey, that’s if bowser doesn’t get up in time.
  19. Beautiful conditions both playing & creeping. Got there 10:30, stayed for about 50. Kozz & Lindsay sneak away for a one-knee wizz . Kozz more impressive, hurdles over fence. Disco running laps - left knee lightly strapped, moving fine. Rest of the lap runners: Shane McAdam, AMW - good pace & pushing. Melk, Lindsay joins in later for some laps with Disco. Moving at a good clip. Roo looking super lean & fit. Like the new trim👍 CJ always looking to move the game forward from the back half. Good energy. Good bounce. Heathe’s a specimen. Dont ask me about his footy, haven’t seen him play yet🤷‍♂️ Match Sim: Jeffo’s a smooth mover across the ground. Couple nice run & bouncers streaming into F50 from HHF. Settle PF setttllleee ✋ Kozz doing Kozz Culley with the beautiful baulk & goal from 40 👏 Kolt caught holding the pill. Have noticed this a few times with him. Seems to always be when he tries to step or run around a player. Don’t know if his lateral movement is any good? Turn over. Goal the other way. Reds now dominating. 49-14, 2nd term Max not in match sim. Joins disco for some laps. Looks fine. Gee Tmac looks fantastic. Kicking low darts to target all sesh 👏 Jai Culley flies high with a beauty contested mark on the D50 arc. Love his aerial game. Someone other than Max for the relieving mark down the flank will be great 👍 GAME: red 73 - white 21 Any questions, feel free 🔴🔵
