  1. Awesome to hear rjay. You mind telling us what you saw? Haven’t seen any of the game. Thanks
  2. Which two clowns voted they hoped pies win the flag? Not coping that. Name & shame @Demonland 👿👿
  3. I hear you Gator, & no doubt he’s got a bit to work on, just as many other 19 y/o’s. But I tend to see it as an exciting part of his development. I reckon he’ll eventually fill that heart & soul void that’s been missed since Gus. A void that’s become noticeably wider with each passing game.
  4. & this is what gets me most excited about this kids prospects. Wait until he starts clunking those mark inside F50 because he’s aerial ability is gonna be a serious weapon for us when resting him forward.
  5. Lego Langford rated the 25’ champion data rising star winner via SEN ahead of Reid & Curtin. Rated #65 in the comp. Best rating by a first year player.
  6. Couldn’t think of anything worse. Can we please stop with this May to play forward rubbish? IMO he’s either playing for another club or playing for Casey. Love May, but she’s all over mate.
  7. And thats the most frustrating thing. The confidence that those close wins would’ve given the boys would've been huge. Gotta get these boys believing again.
  8. But wasn’t all our draft talk back then about drafting players that are super competitive? Draftees that are winners. Boys that hate to lose etc? Which I think we nailed. Because they were exactly that & because of course 21’. But they don’t have that same killer instinct anymore. You can see the confusion & fear in which these boys are playing with. When the going gets tough thats when your stocks rise or fall. Does a new coach fix this? Can he? I bloody well hope so.
  9. Post back-2-back straight sets finals exits, in particular, the debilitating 23 finals campaign, has been solidified, at least in my mind, that this group is suffering from Footballers PTSD. More so exacerbated when we come up against Collingwood & Carlton. The overwhelming crowd, the noise, the energy. No doubt it’s become a burden on this group. I have to admit, the 23 finals campaign has even somewhat scarred me as a supporter, so you can only imagine how the players feel about it all. It’s as if they knew that series was their chance for another flag & they blew it - Now their belief is completely shot & they just can’t deal with the pressure that comes with it all to perform & deliver in the big games, in the big moments against the big clubs. These blokes are battling serious trauma & i dont believe they’re strong enough mentally to overcome this… not at least at the Melbourne Football Club. After last night, I’ve made peace with the realisation that some of our most decorated players should move on, even for their own footballing sake. Sad, but I just can’t see these guys recovering. We need a clean out. Thoughts?
  10. Crazy how I’ve just come to expect a loss at centre bounce these days lol We don’t win CBC’s anymore
  11. Why did I even come here…
  12. Crazy isn’t it. Was pretty pumped for this year too, but it was all over after a month. Forgot how much life sucks when your footy teams [censored]
  13. Don’t get all this talk about getting Judd into the midfield. He’s not a midfielder.
  14. JVR out???? No chance
  15. Kalani going to pick the Dee’s according to [censored] morris via SEN
  16. No not surprised at all Ghosty. He had always been my choice for next skip, but I’m now having some real doubts about his body holding up. Also he’s form / injury’s are making him look like a 34 year old out there… he’s only 30 by start of next season. 26’ is a huge year for Rick. If he plays every game next year then you’d say he’s gotten his body / form right. & that would also make him the obvious candidate imo to be next skip.
  17. Hmmm… Dan Curtin ayy 😐
  18. If that was petracca he would’ve got nothing. Free kick for high (incidental) but thats it. Carry on. The adjudicating of this game is really messing with my love for it.
  19. [censored] pigs [censored] you ya [censored] cheats
  20. How the [censored] did we lose to the saints fml
  21. At the moment he can't even do that. Amazing how many times he loses out in a marking contest for a bloke who’s 197cm. All we literally need him to do is halve a contest.
  22. Pumped for today. Weather looks like it won’t be as terrible as was forecasted a couple days ago, but Melbourne so we’ll see. Feeling like we’re definitely a chance here - whole squad just needs to lock in defensively. Tackle with intent & make sure they bloody stick! Our pressure has to be elite over 4qtrs. No team, no player is immune to elite pressure. Right in their face lads! Convert our chances & in turn the scoreboard pressure will take care of itself. Get around em!!! 🔴🔵
  23. Always wondered why it’s like this for Monday games ie; for Sunday games, extended bench are known Thursday nights & finalised teams by Friday evening… you know the rational behind it all Clint? Cheers.
