I am confident we will bounce back, such is the flakey nature of this team. Out : Tommy McD, I'm sorry but if he was true to himself he would volunteer to fall on his sword, at the moment he is not AFL standard. Out : Melksham, just needs to go back and watch the tapes, he can be better...much better Out: Preuss, I love ya big fella, and you really tried today, but Max is waiting in the wings and it's a no contest. In: Smith or Brown (Don't care), but give me someone that competes In: Hunt, play him forward and let him present, thats what he does best In Gawn...No comment, just gte him back

I'm logging off, time to play Assassins Creed and take out some pent up aggression
-
I'm not going to slam him, but there is something wrong with Tmac and until he gets it right, needs to be be out of the team. If he gets picked next week I will personally write to Goody and complain
-
Bruce had 5 hit outs and 1 kick, can't see your logic here, Preuss had 31 hit outs
-
31 Hit outs, I would have put him in my best 6, he did what he was paid to do, that can't be said about a lot of the others

Demon_spurs replied to Bizzell Blitz's topic in Melbourne Demons
And of Course Freo being such an easy club to deal with.... -
Josh Wagner back into the side
Demon_spurs replied to Rodney (Balls) Grinter's topic in Melbourne Demons
Shows our attention level, a Wagner thread gets quickly turned to a Smith thread, but unfortunately I really don't have an opinion either way on Wagner, he seems an honest player, and coaches usually like that sort of thing. -
Josh Wagner back into the side

Yes i was talking about Smith. -
I love players that bring excitement, you never know what you're going to get hence my favourite 2 would be Farmer and Jurrah. Players who bring the crowd to their feet just be getting near to the ball. "Shivers"

Josh Wagner back into the side

Maybe if they played him in his correct position he might just shine, not too many here are convinced he's a backman -

I like the ball up idea....except, will it be enough of a deterrent to stop players doing it ? (i.e. pushing a player after they have won the free), I not sure it would be. Even though it is a huge penalty, as some suggested a double penalty or 100m penalty, maybe if paid more often it would fade out of the game. I hate seeing players lean over and arrogantly berate a player they just beaten in a contest, it stinks of bad sportsmanship. Maybe the harsh penalty might eradicate it from our game.

So much for Free Kick Hawthorn
-
I reckon, if Gawn, Preuss, and Tim English are out of the game, Dees and The Bullies should nominate Daniel and Spargo as the ruckmen

Chunk has been a huge part of my Demon viewing over the past 10 years, and I have so much admiration for the way he plays and championed this club. But the elephant in the room is would you pick him to play at the detriment of the team?

True possessions aren't everything,, I think players both back and forward (i.e. Lockhart or Pickett), wouldn't have had too many touches, but are valuable pressure players, I'm just not overly sold on Tomlinson, I think Garry Lyon summed up when missed 3 Demon targets by 5 metres and turned the ball over with very little pressure, he seems to do that a bit. He's got good size, and can run, but he seems a peripheral player at the moment.

In: Hunt Out: Tomlinson I forgot Tomlinson was even playing till he bobbed up for a mark in the last quarter. Two pacy wingmen would be awesome.

They've been not so bad , geez we love to eat our own
