  1. I had a similar experience on Sunday. I walked into the ground at gate 3 and decided to grab a cofee before the celebrations, and stood behind two guys that sit behind me in my designated seat on game day. Much celebration as we have not seen each other since "who knows when" (pre CoVid). Was really nice seeing them again. If you are on here guys, look forward to seeing you again Round One
  2. I presume you're a Dad
  3. Why does the AFL insist in dribbling out the fixtures. FFS just anounce the all the games when they have worked it out. I find it infuriating.
  4. NO reminds me of the Port crowd, singing "Never tear us apart. I liked Hell's Bells, unfortunately it doesn't flow well into "It's a grand old flag"
  5. Dillon for me . his partnership with Parke was what got me excited in the Dees in the beginning. I have a soft spot for LJ too, a career, like Sean Charles, just wasn't to be.
  6. Was he nicknamed by "shifter" Sheehan?
  7. For me, it's meeting iike minded supporters going about their business: in the car park, at the shops, at my local dentist and greeting them with a heartfelt "Go Dees" and who have thought there was so many?. It's walking around my neighbourhood and seeing all the red and blue banners, still flying three weeks later, puts a pep in my step and a smile on my face, and still getting emotional when watching the replay for the "umpteenth" time as Clarrie puts through the last goal of the 3rd quarter, still makes the tears well up
  8. A touch of Titus about this, very enjoyable
  9. No Dangerfield or Selwood, gladens my heart
  10. Fremantle have one of the worst trading records and continue with Peter Bell airing negotiations through the media, couldn't stand Bell as a player and dislike him even more as a list manager
  11. MY mates are sitting front row bay 140 (My tickets)
  12. Another reason why I hate Arsenal
  13. Operation CondomCrime ???
  14. Struth I hope we don't get those umpires next week, kept Geelong in it al night
  15. I like to heap praise on Jack Viney, definitely a big game player. But I noticed tonight and last week, he gets rid iof the ball so much quicker, doesn't try to beat three players with his strength, and boy what a difference this has made to him and the team. It wouldn't surprise me that during his 2 match ban that a certain Mr Choco or Mr OOZE hasn't been getting into his ear big TIME
  16. You know, players don't have to have high stats to play well. I watched TMac tonight and he played an important role in clearing space, that is what makes a great team, like when Gus was getting low stats, but played the defensive wing position and the sacrifices he made were so important. I give the whole team my 3 word analysis. Great team Effort
  17. I prefer Greene to Papley
  18. Hogans last shot hit the goal post and the point post, try and do that again!!
  19. SHould get something extra if you hit both posts
  20. No apology needed, $35 for the shirt $10 for postage, Im ok with this. On another point, does anybody remember the Air Jurrah tee shirts from a few years back, who designed that shirt? I have one and it is brilliant
  21. Yeah. I have. Did it yesterday, my beef wasn't with the club, I just thought $17 from Oz Post a bit steep for a bagged item, especially since the papers today are reporting the millions paid to their bosses in bonus's
  22. I did yesterday, but it still cost $10 (thats ok), I think free postage only when the specials are on. I will investigate further...Cheers
  23. Carlton should take the AFL up on an offer to move to Tassie, I've suggested this to my Carlton mates, hasn't gone down well
