If I was a likely no. 1 pick, I wld deliberately drop my form as a way of sliding down the draft order and getting picked up by a better club.

Given that Tholstrup was touted to go in the late teens, i wonder if we are contemplating trading 6 for WCE future 1st and then trading our future first for a Nth Melb late teens pick.

Will WCE offer us their first pick 2024 on draft night if Curtin slides to P6 ?

This is definetly a thing in my eyes - all teams really set themselves to play us. We on the other hand, dont often find ways to win easily - need some dominent fwds for that.

With the excess of medium defenders, wld love them to trial Bowie at half fwd to see if we can use his foot skills / decision making. All the other small fwds have really dropped off in form the last month or so. Chin back to Casey. Kossie and Spargs on thin ice.

I'd keep JJ in, what he doesn't have in burst leg speed is made up with Kossie in the midfield. Sparrow as sub (unlucky) and if well on top look to bring him in end of the 3rd qrt for Clarry or Trac. Or look to bring Sparrow in a way to reduce mins for Trac and Clarrie.
