    Definitely needed!
  2. This is definetly a thing in my eyes - all teams really set themselves to play us. We on the other hand, dont often find ways to win easily - need some dominent fwds for that.
  3. With the excess of medium defenders, wld love them to trial Bowie at half fwd to see if we can use his foot skills / decision making. All the other small fwds have really dropped off in form the last month or so. Chin back to Casey. Kossie and Spargs on thin ice.
  4. Not sure of the stats but seemed like we were denigned scores from turnover today. Didn't find too much open fwd line entries.
  5. We lost that in front of goal. Had the better of gen. play bu we fluffed a good number of opportunities. That also gave them confidence which gave them a boost We have been great in front of goal this year, but not today. Cost us the game.
  6. We've been horrible in wet weather for a long time now. Time to get the hose out at training.
  7. I'd love to see one deep fwd lead out on the 45 when we get a clean centre clearance.

What an egregious joke. Utter BS.
  9. Wish we were going in with another key back tonight. We were exposed in defence v Essendon and Nth will look to do the same. Gawn dropping back is great but Grundy is a liability in the marking contest. I guess Schache can go back but that would throw all fwd structure out.

Lets go GWS, put some distance on Freo.
  11. I'm riding every posession! Fun barracking for a team to lose than to win.
  12. Its not little league, how cld they call that review a point?
  13. Wtf Bowey! Picks up the ball to hand straight back to end in a set shot and goal. WTH is he doing !
  14. We are tapping and hitting it on a lot today, might have been the tactic for the week at training.
  15. Omg, imagine this for a scenario. Round 23, Melb plays Hawthorn. A Melb loss sees us retain top spot being two games clear and Hawthorn move off the bottom of the ladder replaced by Freo who end up with the wooden spoon and pick 1 goes to the dees. Geez that would be awkward.
  16. I'd keep JJ in, what he doesn't have in burst leg speed is made up with Kossie in the midfield. Sparrow as sub (unlucky) and if well on top look to bring him in end of the 3rd qrt for Clarry or Trac. Or look to bring Sparrow in a way to reduce mins for Trac and Clarrie.
  17. 68 - 78 % humidity on the forecast. Will make for a slippery pill. My MFCSS says we'll miss Kossie - obviously....
  18. Yep, watching 5 mins of Freo v Saints its totally apparent they dont have a key fwd to kick to, which is completely throwing off their fwd ball movement. Calling it now, they will miss the 8.
  19. Watcbing the replay has been such a treat. We're playing a very watchable game style (was seriously boring last year).
  20. Chandler needs to extend his goal kicking run up. In all seriousness no player shd be kicking off a short run up and they shd be appling the BBB method. Tried it at the oval myself and works a treat.
  21. Yep, any opposition side would be thrilled with that luck, i'm currently in the process of negotiating with my self that we shouldnt be favourites and its ok if we dont get up wk 1. Resetting expectation.
  22. Perhaps we put JVR in as sub and if things arent going well, we sub him in and put TMac back.
  23. Will Laurie just be the sub?
  24. Yze said in presser that the midfield got tired end of last season so they will be sharing the load through this season - that was a intereating.

Agree, bar injuries, its on the coaches to sort out and adapt tge game plan.
