Has struggled this year, no doubt. Has a contract, so must play, be paid out, be traded or retire. None of these are great options financially or list wise, I would have thought. But these reoccurring rumours about players wanting out or being pushed out is now getting ridiculous. I have read on Land that the MFC is not well liked by many of the press corp (something about someone within the club feeding them lies and was caught out), but how is it that they get any oxygen? Are there people within who are so unprofessional that they give out information or is it just pure fiction by journalists seeking payback? This is being handled VERY badly by the club. The fact that Neeld has to go to the VFL commentators to try and correct rumours (so far) says that the media wheels have fallen off the MFC. Who's job at the MFC is this to address? Schwabby, where the £ark are you? Also getting a tad sick of posters on here claiming to be in-the-know with decisive info. What cr@p. C'mon guys, get real. It's easy to claim anything when we are all anonymous keyboard heroes.

Can't see him retiring as he has a large family to feed. Can't see the club paying him out for nix. Can't see he has much trade value. Might be true, but me thinks this report originated from the same camp as the 'Jordan Gysberts to be delisted' report. Didn't see it, but was there any direct quotes from AD or the MFC in the report? Has been a fine player in his heyday. Unfortunately injured and out of form in last couple of years. Of little use to us or any other club, I would have thought.

Watching Michael Talia play on Cook...... One is a relative man mountain with wide shoulders and big arms, the other looks like he will be blown over in the strong winds. Cook get the free, misses from 20 out in front....... hmmmmmm.

Reported on VFL commentary that Cook has NOT been delisted from MFC. Interesting.

If Mitch can make the difference he has, imagine if we picked up a couple of FAs with great attitude, another around the 24 yr old mark, Jack Viney and a couple of hard working draft kids. Could turn around the attitude and work ethic of quite a few on the list. I'm suddenly excited. Forgive me for having a small moment of optimism. Normal programing will resume shortly.

My comment was that we members are the club and part of our money is what the club is using. Selective quoting or not.

Loving watching finals footy..... the step up in level. Hard tackling. Fast decisions. Inspired play........ Eats me up that my team is now disbanded around the planet, getting plastered, chasing fluff, probably getting their hair braided on a beach. MFC players should watch this wherever they are and feel like there is something major missing in their life, something unfulfilled.

Give it a rest mate. LJ paid for his own legal representation. Do your research.

Watching this game makes me weep at how far we have to go before our club becomes even competitive. Two teams doing all they can to win a game of footy. Desperation and hard ............ (sounds like my private life, unfortunately)
