Like the confidence Curry, but you don't have a good track record with big calls of late. If Roos is happy with Brayshaw's game and he pulls up well this week, I would've thought he'd keep a place against GWS and maybe jkh, Toump or (dare I say it) Frost make way for Dawes. The Tues training thread mentions that Viney is ginger and on lighter duties, so that may become the opening. I prefer stability to a team after a win but also see the value of Dawes playing alongside Hogan. Certainly a wonderful position to be in!

Great position to be in, but I think it will come down to match ups and injuries (if any) as to whether Dawes or Vince play. I can see the positives for them being included, yet am loath to see a winning team changed.

2015 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Moonshadow replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
3 players in 2 drafts that are absolute steals for the Swans IMO. We've done ok with F/S of late, but those 3 (Heeney, Mills and Dunk jnr) are bargains for where their pick is/will be. -
Geelong at Geelong - why the injustice?
Moonshadow replied to Curry & Beer's topic in Melbourne Demons
That's it in a nutshell. Our fixture is pretty good this year, so the usual trip to Geelong for the moment is expected. Not liked, but expected. Collingwood are probably asking the same question about Queens Birthday. -
Think he's still very young, maybe 5-6 yrs off, not sure exactly. Saw him and Ox at the footy last year. Ox is a very big fella these days.

Melbourne in the Media - Round 1, 2015
Moonshadow replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Agreed. Very entertaining read. Loved this line... "Our membership has an average age of about 72 so thrillers aren't good for anybody's business except the person who runs the bequest program." -
9 tackles on debut is outstanding and bloody effective I'd say! Good on ya Gus! Long may you reign!
-
Think he's trying to put himself in the positive books, not going to say anything else really. Would be better if he just shut his mouth and let his footy do the talking, in which case there would be silence.

You are definitely not Saty's second Land account...
-
Very rich coming from the guy who promised never to post on Land again. Now honour your promise fool.

Essendon players deserved to get off says top-up player James Magner

Just having had roast duck for dinner and a lot of good red, I understood a whole different meaning into the thread title.

You need to get out more Hogan's if that's your entertainment for the day. Perhaps a class on spelling and grammar wouldn't go astray either.
-
Largely agree Dazzle. Exciting times, great signs for the future, particularly with the new guys. However, part of me still says it's round one and we have a bloody long way to go. Not putting a lid on it, just wanting to see where we are at by rd 5 or 6.

Mate that's no way to talk about stuie.

Watts deft tap from the goal line to Garlett. Great vision and creative play.
-
No change. Settle the team. Unless GWS match ups or injury demand a change, my view is keep Vince and Dawes hungry at Casey.
-
Didn't the Toump come on in the last as the sub? A bit rich some saying he had a bad game or that he should be dropped. I'd honestly be happy to see Dawes and Vince at Casey next week because it should be hard to break into a winning side (Never thought I'd say that after rd 1)

Curry humiliated once again. What a sucker for punishment!
-
Keep digging the hole deeper Curry... again

Anyone who multiple quotes their posts to that extreme clearly has a good grip on themself. I support the team selection for round 1. I'm not an assistant coach or Saty and I believe they are making the right decisions.
-
It's self evident that you expect him to fail Curry. At round 1 most supporters should be brimming with confidence and backing their club. I am and I do.
-
Trying to avoid MFCSS obviously...
-
How very dare you! Only a mod could post like that to saty and not have it deleted. Lol.
-
Oh great. Any other club's supporters would be thrilled their no 3 pick was playing his first game for their team and look forward to him doing well. Look at the joy on Tiger supporters at the debut of McIntosh. On Land we have losers who expect him to fail, perhaps even hope for him to fail so that their pessimistic opinion is proven right. FMD...
