  1. You know he won't cost us much? Wow. Thanks Todd. Btw, I once took a hanger in my suburban league 20 years ago. Where were you when I wanted to be drafted?
  2. Agree. If you don't ask you don't receive. If we ask it shows up the process as being either biased or balenced. Wonder which it will be?
  3. And would a jerk point score to point out another poster point scoring? Again, rhetorical.
  4. Is Stuie a jerk? (rhetorical as well, of course the answer is yes)
  5. Thanks Doc.
  6. So he had concussion issues before GFC or he hadn't? It's relevant because if he had concussion issues at MFC there might be some initial liability with us.
  7. Sam was on SEN this morning making his standard implications that it was or club's fault he didn't play well enough. Didn't hear him say "I simply want up to it and that's why I struggled to get a game"
  8. Richmond can have him. Good luck with that!
  9. All true, but I take it you know or have treated Buddy to be so confident it is depression he is suffering from. Not sure his condition has been revealed beyond the term mental health, which could be many things, including anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar and, of course, depression. Give the guy a break and stop diagnosing him on the internet.
  10. Not much positive coming out of your world atm curry. Need a hug?
  11. You mean like banning them from freely trading and reducing the COLA? Bit early to assume his contract will be dropped. Cut the guy some slack.
  12. Yeah absolutely identical. Clark left us as a FA after many years of kicking big bags of goals, helping us to 2 flags and we got band 1 compo when he left.
  13. The AFL did not give us pick 3 for Chip, they gave us band 1 compo, which because we finished low, happened to be pick 3. Hawthorn got pick 18 (or was it 19?) for Buddy because they won the flag that year. He too was band 1. Had they finished lower they would have got a better pick for him. FA compo obviously delivers better picks for lower clubs who lose FAs, as it should. Within reason, I don't mind low clubs getting good picks for FA, as long as there is not too many in any single draft, which I don't know how that can be controlled. But I hope the PP system is scrapped. If we couldn't get one for the last 4 years of crappola, no one should. As for Leuie and Kruze getting band one, well that's a joke IMO.
  14. McCartin showed enough against us to indicate to me he will be a very good key forward in the next couple of years. Much prefer to have (and keep) Hogan though.
  15. Public nuisance. Really? What did he do, forget to pick up his dog's poop?
  16. ^^ this. Though I'd replace 'most' with 'some'.
  17. 20 of his 24 disposals were not turnovers Dazzle. You were wrong. As much as it hurts me to agree with C&B. Btw I don't think the two players are either/or. I look forward to both of them developing and improving next year.
  18. That's bs. No one is saying he's amongst our better players. The best way to not be so crap is to improve our midfield and get/develop a bunch of A grade mids. Grimes will not effect that.
  19. Super glue him to Nev Jetta, great role model.
  20. Likewise heard. That somebody is no longer at the club, ironically.
  21. Gotta say that I loved the win against the doggies. Giving it to the WB cheer squad as they were leaving half way through the last was a personal highlight, despite Biffen and BBO fleecing me of most of my beer money.
  22. Would love him to shuffle over to the Bombers next year. They may have a dozen empty places to fill on their list in 2016.
  23. You mean like most major grounds, including the MCG? FMD there is plenty of dirt between the grass and the car park. The architect had nothing to do Cross getting knocked out.
  24. Where are those posters who practically tore up their memberships in a hissy fit over the last month or so and swore to never buy one again and give up on the club? Amazing what a win can do to close off the year. Loved the input by some of our young brigade today. Bring in an A grade mid and a few more from the draft or free agency and things are looking much better for the future. 7 wins is a good result, sure it could have been better if we beat the teams we should have, such as Carlton, Essendon and St K x 2. Win those and a couple more and we are on the verge of finals next year. Roos is dead right, improve our worst footy, close the gap, become consistent and we are on the way to success. I'm genuinely excited about 2016.
  25. That's just ridiculous. Over taken Grimes after one game (actually, 3 quarters)? Be realistic Dazzle. I know the excitement of the win and all that, but Grimes has played a number of good games in the back half of the season. He's a keeper, and I reckon Roos thinks the same.
