  1. Also, our recruiters would've had a fair idea of the quality and mix of players coming up in this year's draft. Perhaps our needs were better met from the 2015 draft mix.
  2. Nah, she sings to many songs in French for my liking Maple. French is the language of peasants.
  3. Hard to get the grin off my face!
  4. This one is straight from here... "Although there will be those hardy fans whose pessimism is so ingrained they would refuse to believe in progress at Demonland even if they saw Nathan Jones holding a premiership cup aloft on grand final day."
  5. Paul Roos was a pretty handy player......
  6. I thought Jrn McDonald had left the football industry to run a big farm? You know the story, old McDonald had a farm, and all that.... Seriously
  7. There's only one Hulk. What a figure!
  8. What? Because we've been so successful over the last decade like Geelong and Hawthorn that we can attract guns on modest pay. Get real man.
  9. Melbourne in the mix for Prestia according to Talking Footy tonight.
  10. Well hung?
  11. His fitness and disposal have seriously stepped up a notch this year. Still only 20 and will have highs and lows, but has shown some excellent form at times this year. Well deserved nomination.
  12. A free agent key back such as Hurley or one of the Reids (if body up to it) would be handy. But our priority should still be building midfield depth and quality. One or two of Prestia, Whitfield, Gaff or similar will hopefully be targeted. Is there any doubt amongst us that Taylor, TViney and Goodwin will massage this well to get a good outcome for the club?
  13. Getting better each season. Big bodied goes in hard, loved that he crunched Malceski twice in the space of 10 min (3rd qtr?)
  14. So is Celine Dion. Someone should put her out of our misery.
  15. The Hawks and Norf have been on the receiving end of very favourable umpiring decisions at critical game times this year. Tight games are stressful enough without some whistle happy fool trying to decide the winner. Two in a row for the Hawks and at least today's game for Norf. Anyone remember Goldy marking the ball on the behind line against us, playing on, taking the ball across the goal line before re-entering to kick the 'goal'? They still couldn't get it right despite a score review.
  16. Correct. Great vision stuie
  17. We are rooted if (like last week) every key back man stands 30m away from Lynch pointing fingers at each other.
  18. Tigers would do well to trade Vickery. At his most valuable atm. Soft show pony. In 2 years they'll rue still having him on their list.
  19. I like the angry punch in the air as he walks away!
  20. Like it a lot. Which round is it for and who are we playing? Just thinking of clash potential.
  21. Yes, but that becomes very predictable and quickly negated by the opposition
  22. What an itinerary Earl! Shame I'm incarcerated for the next 25 years and unable to participate. Marriage will do that to you.
  23. Good nutshell summation rpfc. Salem, Milkshake and perhaps Vince will be the class coming out of the backline next year, perhaps Jetta as well because of his reliability. Hurley would be handy. TMac will never be 'class', as effective as his marking and spoiling can be. Definitely lack back 6 class. We've focussed on getting tough mids that attack the contest inside (Viney, Vince, Jones, Bugg, Oliver, Brayshaw, Vanders, etc) and now lack class on the outside that can run and spread. This was exposed against both Essendon and St K. Will Stretch, Hunt, ANB, Melksham and MJones be those players we need for run and spread long term? Doubt it. I supect at season's end this will be a focus at trade/draft time. Are Prestia, Heppell and/or Cogniglio in our sights? We also deperately need to re-sign Hogan in the next 18 mths. The Weid will get games next year.
  24. Imagine how f'ed we'd be if we lost both bookends at the end of the year.
