We have just beaten 2 very poor sides with North having a lot of injuries. We play a depleted filth next and should win that but I will start to take notice if we can beat the dogs. North were crap so I can't take anything from that victory except weeds 1st half and Brayshaw who must play in the middle.

Don't like the look of forward line and the team in general. Jones at HBF and Tomlinson on the wing is not good. We shall see but if I was North I would be confident.

I don't know why some people think having Gawn out will be a bonus for the midfield. He is our best player.

Been around too long see the rubbish we displayed tonite. We were dreadful. Kicking skills not there at all. Too many bog ordinary players like Tomlinson, Jones, AVB etc. Adelaide had cooked themselves by 3/4 time so to get exited about a training run in the last is to put it mildly a false premise. Play like that next week and we will get done by 5 goals or more.

A Cordner leaving Melbourne ? I can however see what the club is doing. Elise lost what seems to be a few paces last year and maybe Smiths knee won't be right. Newman had pace but nothing else.

After last thursday why do I still have doubts. I think this Adelaide game will show us a lot about where the club is at the momment. I wouldn't be penciling in a win against North either.

This comming game against the crows could be interesting. We will know if there is something amiss at the club. Play the youngsters as much as possible.
