  1. Good decision. Wonder what Viney thinks of it.
  2. We were not too good in the late 70s either. I remember the battles for the spoon down at Moorabin.
  3. At this stage it is still a fact that the horse has not spoken.
  4. I am curious as to where they will play the weed when gawn is back. I would have him at CHF with TMAC at FF. I am not sold on Brown. Will the weed be the second ruckman ?
  5. All I have seen is the same as last year. We are being done over in the middle.
  6. True but a section of the ground is blocked off so it may be more cramped.
  7. This is a chanel 7 report right. How do we know if true ?
  8. Typical. Just typical. We dominated that game but found an excuse to lose. We are the worst kicking side in womens footy and that is not just at goal but around the ground.
  9. Poor kicking. We are playing all over them but behind by a point. Should still win but it could be close.
  10. Yeah he played okay. None of our players looked likely just yet for AFL.
  11. I left 1/2 way through the last. What a mismatch. I thought Jordan and Bedford were our best Dee players at least until 1/2 time. I don't even know what number Rivers is? Hunt, Baker and Wagner going through the paces which is as kind as you can get. Hore was reasonable today as well. Bradke played a reasonable game as well. Saw the same problems as last year. Poor kicking to position and too many handballs off target. It is a practice match so I won't be throwing my ham at the fridge. On a positive note Essendon supporters are as ugly as Richmond. The ganggangs were making plenty of noise in the last quarter.
  12. I will still go but would like to have an idea of what Melbourne players will be playing.
  13. Jones on a half back flank. I hope they are not seriously considering this.
  14. MFCSS is kicking in with this game. We should win easily but.......
  15. I tend to doubt the egg and bacon rolls although there is a fair bit of work being done around the ground so there may be a few extras there to put the barbie on. Drove past there earlier today and car park seemed full.
  16. I could give a guess and that is we get a replacement entry for an away game at the mcg for the Alice game so you would have to pay to see it up there.
  17. Only one melbourne player. Good. I must admit I got a laugh seeing Gresham, Moore and Saad named in the vic squad. You have to be joking.
  18. Think I will go on Frifay and have a look at the Casey players.
  19. I am well and truly scratching my head.
  20. Big question mark over the filth and geelong.
  21. A good win for the ladies. Tackling pressure was great and we stopped the dogs getting any quick clearances. Again Hore was a great contributor and Newman played a great game. Paxman is a class above all others and Daisy was fantastic. Cunningham and Zanker had quiet ones so it was good to see others like Scott contribute on the forward line. I hope the men can gain some of the intensity and desire that the girls show.
  22. The Hogan-May syndrome.
  23. Can't remember if it was 76 or 78 when we beat them in round 1 after they had won the premiership.
