  1. Has the war finished and back in the fold.
  2. It's not his call; he has a contract until the end of 2027, and that's the end of the story. We can hold it against him if the club wants to or make a deal; so be it. It's their call. As for saying to respect the club and supporters, stop being a drama queen. But then again...
  3. News flash it's not his call end of story Jesus the season has just started and people are worried about this [censored] sometimes this forum reads like the the Truth (those that know know).
  4. Well, I'm going to do what I have done for the last 40 years: pay no attention to expectations until after round 6. Then you can get guage on how they will go, so settle down, put the razor blades down, and wait.
  5. Oxygen must light up there with Max. It only took an hour to pass it, then over-kick it.

Jesus, the season hasn't started, and there are still conversations around Kossie. He's on a contract for another 3 years; if he wants to go home, so be it. Get the best deal and move on. That's today's football; no use worrying about it now.
  9. And Jeffo has done what exactly?
  10. Gee I remember when they said that about Greg Williams and he went alright.
  11. Well, this match was just below dancing with your sister, and with many players out, it was good to see some of the younger players have a go. So really, it was just a hit-out for them. There was some great movement of the ball, but their handball decision making left a lot to be desired. Too many players were handballing to players standing still, at the feet, and taking the wrong option or one too many. But hopefully, that will be worked out, I hope.
  12. Now that's a hard one will have to sleep on that....
  13. Mark Lewin?

Why are people so concerned about a small forward? We have plenty; I'd be more interested in someone who can play midfield and could move forward in a pinch running midfield will be the key to this year if, by all accounts, there is a change to how the ball is delivered into the forward line.
  15. One hour ago, Sir Why You Little said: Yes, it is basically entertainment. But for the club, it is a multi-million dollar business. Managing the number one asset would be a tough job, as every player has a different background. Of course, it's a business for them, but the fact is, if the club folded tomorrow, it would not impact the day-to-day supporters of the club probably emotionally for some, but not financially. And yes, I agree, looking after players' different personalities, as shown last year, would be a headache.
  16. I do not begrudge anyone getting time off or what they are paid, and it is only an extremely small number of people who can play at that level. However, for people to say how hard it is for players who have only a limited time in the game is true, but they know that going into the system is no more important than Joe Blow down the street doing his or her job. After all, it is only a sport for supporters to watch, no more and no less.
  17. Jesus another one who cannot understand posts....
  18. Do you even think about what you write, that is the dumbest post I have ever read full stop and we are only 2 months in.
  19. I don't begrudge them for what they get paid, but they choose to follow a path that they know can be very short in longevity, just like anyone else in the workforce. Again, it's their choice, knowing what could happen at any time. But if you ask anyone if they had the opportunity to play the game, I guess most would say, 'You bet I would.'
  20. God help us that players want to spend less time at their job while us normal people spend 8 hours + day at work for for less money than they are on for six months a year and have 8 weeks + a year off come off it give me a break.
  21. Well, when they do pretend match sims by themselves, it's like dancing with your sister, but match sims against another team is like dancing with your sister's best friend. You don't want to show too much excitement while your sister is there that you interested, so you hold back till the season starts.
  22. Isn't there on line ones you can do?
  23. The intensity is the one for me, Schache had skills but lack of intensity at the ball and pack but the track watchers have seen more than I have.
  24. Only if they change the way Casey plays.
