Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
I I I I Ifirst-yearfirst-yearfirst-yearfirst-yearfirst-year And what would Viney know about it as a first-year player? There were rumors all over the place about players canceling 2k runs because it was too hot under Bailey, players running the show. We were a circus. Like I said, he might not have succeeded, but it didn't make it any easier for him; the club was in a mess.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Neeld was given a poison pill at the time. The players ran the club; it wasn't until Jackson and Pert came in that it changed, not saying he would have succeeded, but it was made hard for him.

That's all you've got? Just the usual BS from you, but then again, you really don't know much about football.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
In the end, it doesn't matter what we think who's going to be coach or who we would like to coach all we will do is say yes that was a great signing or they stuffed it up and sent us backwards

POSTGAME: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
What it showed is how bad our ball skills are and how we are unable to think through things in the third quarter we played a more man on man especially in the forward line and in the last we stopped playing man on man and we got exposed players watching the ball not their man getting loose and didn't chase to cover space, but in saying that they did better than I expected Trac looked like he wanted to win the game off his own boot and the harder he tried the worse he got, Rivers the good the bad and the ugly all rolled into one would love to get a decent midfield coach to teach him bring on next year and I hope it's skills, skills and more skills over and over again preseason.

GAMEDAY: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
Makes a difference when you man up in the forward line and stop the free pies players doing what they want.

People blaming umpires are clearly not watching the game and the diabolical football skills and lack of ability to think through a situation.

AMW, Mentha and Culley Sign on as Rookies for 2026

Salem goes to slow past it.

And they don't have the skill to play another way.

Petty is definitely improving.

I just hope the new coach brings in someone who can educate those two, plus the younger ones as well.

Because that was what the game style then was, and things have changed. Goodwin had his chance to change in 22 onwards and didn't, and now we see his end product. Whoever comes in, I hope they make the changes to suit the modern game and bring in people who will develop the younger players.

CASEY: Rd 21 vs Box Hill Hawks
If that happens it's an embarrassment he's so slow a 🐢 would beat him over 100 metres and his throwaway handpasses and dinky kicks that causes turnovers time to move on.

Nah just release Salem full stop he's past it.

POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Hawthorn
2 minutes ago, Gibberish said: We've lost a year or two of development because we haven't tried players in different positions. We have been so inflexible that it makes it easier for the opposition as we're so predictable. I don't think we are in the position to get any value out of Petracca or Oliver (no that I want to see them leave) but we needed more experimentation for what has largely been a lost season. With a new coach things might be better for those two but the main concern is Oliver can he change roles improve his skills maybe but it's going to need a big pre season as for Vinpre-seasonfor your service bupre-season same with Salem and a few others it's going to be interesting what path the new coach takes.

36 minutes ago, Gibberish said: I think that's a bit unfair on Chaplin. How much change do expect him to effect on the team in 3 weeks. The forward 50 disconnect has been symptomatic for 4 seasons at least. And Chaplin was the forward coach this year, this is the fault of the gameplan a one paced lack of skill midfield that started in 22 you cannot have Viney Oliver and Trac in the midfield at the same time unless hey believe Oliver can change roles he is going to struggle, drop Viney and Salem, Sparrow, leave Kossie in the forward line the same with Trac just introduce some run next week it doesn't matter about the result and before someone says but Kossie has the run he is more dangerous as a forward than a midfielder.

Well, I'm assuming they have ping pong tables to play on?

PREGAME: Rd 23 vs Hawthorn
The midfield has been a hugh problem all year one paced lack of skills so what to we do same same again.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
I appreciate people's willingness to put pen to paper so to speak, all it needs is Gameplan can be worked on but the following is more important. Pace into the midfield Ball skills by hand and foot Decision making Forward craft education and execution If we can fix these areas up, along with some recruiting, it will be a far better and enjoyable year.

Tracca often slow to get started.
It looked to me he was trying too hard to lead the way, and sometimes the harder you try, the results don't go your way because you are rushing. He will be fine.

My 3 word player analysis V Bulldogs
1 hour ago, Redlagged said: Oliver was excellent today. Insanity in the air. Try looking at what he does with the ball and without the ball, not the stats. The modern game does not suit him unless they can find another role type.
