After 3 or 4 highly skilled matches, this has been horrendous so far.

Continue to love and support the best sporting club in the world, while simultaneously multi-tasking the following: driving my family to distraction via yelling, moaning and head rubbing being physically restrained from throwing assorted remote controls at the large TV screen. typing furiously on Demonland to express my rage, disappointment , self-inflated opinions, and frustration. Sums up my 2025 experience really.

Of all the rules we have stuffed up, man in front being paid the mark is now rubbery. Stuff me.

The field kicking from the Crows - wow.

Quick, hot game of footy, but it can't be this for 4 quarters. It will be interesting when/if it settles into a contested game.

If we trade Sparrow then probably yes. Worpel is a good player, but is he more of the same pace we already have in spades?

You know those footballers from other clubs you love watching? Paul Kelly from Sydney was my favourite. But boy, Tex Walker is a close 2nd. So powerful and clean. A bit of a dill at times, but a great footballer.

GC v Crows. What a great game to watch, from both teams. Sublime footskills, very quick and clean in transition, and forwards with some craft including marking the ball.

Our play between wing and F50 is an ugly, ugly thing. Our effort was really good and most gave their all. I could see us trying our new style but we simply don't have the foot skills to execute. Actually, our foot skills are a total embarrassment. van Royen and Petty are in the lowest form slump I can remember for each of them. And we are slow.

That last F50 entry was a scene from Benny Hill.

Apart from all our F50 woes, boy we have been monstered in the air tonight, and their kicking has shown us up.

Very proud of the effort. A few playing light weight but most are giving everything they have. Even if they mess it up they are tying to change he angle and run into spaces. But I don't know how much more bad F50 play I can take. Burning players running past or free, missing targets by 2-5 metres, kicking to the advantage of the defender when we have a one-on-one. We can do it from here, but I think our general sloppiness will shoot us in the foot.

Lots of work which is great, but not enough class to finish well.

We are giving things a red hot go, but skills letting us down in key moments. Movement is OK, but struggling for movement through half back.

I understand your amazement, because his disposal and decision making was so ordinary, but he ran and tried better than most today.

Bowey. I reckon the margin would have been much more without his effort today. Langford. Amid all the horror of today, he was very, very good. Langdon - pity his disposal was so poor Sharp. Getting better each game. Chandler. Oliver - horrendous skills and decision making but one of the few who ran and tried all day.

Because that is who opposition teams will go for. Petracca will get currency but neither of Viney or Oliver will. Kozzie, Langford and McVee in particular will be heavy targets.

I know Goodwin will say we believe in our plan and program, that it was unacceptable today, that we know what we need to do etc... But we need more from him today. We, the members and supporters need an explanation from coach and President.

It is a 50/50 no from me. Would never want to lose any of Langford, Lindsay, Tholstrup, Kozzie, Jeffo, McVee, or Windsor and we would have to for a rebuild. But it is not a clear cut no. Gawn and May are coming to the end with no clear replacement. Oliver, Petracca and Viney have no wind in their sails and their general play is error-riddled. We do have a heap of tradeable players whose form is appalling (Rivers, Salem, Turner etc...)

Done now I'd reckon.

The game plan is not bad - try to keep the ball moving via short quick kicks or handball chains. But it requires excellent kicking skills (i.e. Hawthorn, GWS) and our kicking is bovine faecal matter. So we are looking to use a game plan that we can't execute. Very stupid. Most of the team suffer from it, and unfortunately the top 5 current worst kicks are Gawn, Oliver, Petracca, Viney and Fritsch. On top of that, some of our emerging players have lost form and confidence. Rivers, Salem, Sparrow, JVR.

You know that 1 metre handball players do just to get rid of the thing, not caring what pressure you put your team mate under? We are brilliant at it. So good, we even miss that target.
