The List: Post 2019 Trade Period
So that makes 35 on the senior list so it’s 3, 4 or 5 spots to fill depending on whether we want 38, 39 or 40 on the senior list.

Beware of Pick 6!!!
Pick 6 will become pick 7 when GWS swoop on Green though.

Dan Butler
He was very good for the Tigers in 2017 when he won a flag with them. His pressure and tackling in the forward 50 was elite. Walk up start as a small forward in our best 22 imo so it’s a yes from me.

Jamie Elliott
No confirmation that Collingwood have upped their offer to three years.

Jamie Elliott
Well if Tom ‘even a broken clock is right twice a day’ Browne says we’re out of the race it must be so....... Haha spare me! All we know is that both the Dees and Lions have offered him 3 years and the Pies have offered him 2. Just because he was at the Lions most recently doesn’t mean that’s where he’s going to end up. Both Fagan and Noble have simply said they have put forward the offer to Elliot, just as Melbourne have.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ADAM TOMLINSON
Tomlinson played just 56% of the game on the weekend. Difficult to have an impact with such low time on ground.

Oskar Baker
Sparrow one would assume. Damn birds, it gets confusing for some.

Changes: Rd 05 v St. Kilda

2019 Fixture
Bloody hell, they're making us earn a top 4 finish with doubles against the Eagles, Pies and Tigers.. On our day we can beat anybody so let's hope the boys rise to the challenge.

THE 2018 AFL NATIONAL DRAFT
I reckon we mostly pick players that barely anybody in this thread mentions. Most posters moan about the picks on draft night. Fast forward a couple of years and the majority of our picks turn out to be great players while almost all of the ones that the masses on here wanted based on phantom drafts and a brief highlight reel end up flopping. Rinse and repeat.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Michael Gleeson reports that the final and biggest piece of the interconnected mega trade is expected to be completed in the next hour. The essence of the deal is: Jesse Hogan and Melbourne's fourth round pick will move to Fremantle for picks six and 23. Melbourne will trade pick six to the Suns for Steven May, Kade Kolodjashnij and a Suns fourth round pick.

"Melbourne's communications heavyweight Ryan Larkin has just arrived. Strong feeling now the Dees are going to do some business."

No chance of 6 and 11. Zilch.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Looks like it's heading the way of; OUT: Hogan, Pick 46 or 54 IN: May, KK, Pick 19 Hogan a massive loss but the compensation seems somewhat fair.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Lachie Neale to be a lion within the hour as reported on the AFL website.

Hawthorn. We only need that pick when there is a McDonald available at that pick anyway ?
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
So sounds like we will end up doing the following; OUT: Hogan, one of picks 46 or 54 IN: May, KK, one of picks 18, 23 or 30 Fingers crossed it's pick 54 out and pick 18 in.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KADE KOLODJASHNIJ
KK likely to be a Dee tomorrow. Source: AFL website.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Freo didn’t make the 8 year offer. Jesse’s management did. Freo knocked it back.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I think the scenario has been that the Dees have requested pick 5 and 6 from Freo for Hogan. Freo have declined but said they will give us two first rounders if they can acquire them. Pending the deal for pick 5 from Brisbane to Freo for Neale, Freo will trade us pick 5 and pick 11 for Hogan and we will then trade pick 5 to GC for May and enter the draft in the first round at pick 11. GC will not accept pick 11 for May knowing full well their compo at the end of next year would be a much higher draft pick. Edit: Swapping or trading of later draft picks will also be involved for the Dees to acquire KK from the Suns.

Lukosius or Rankine. They're ahead of Adelaide in the draft now.

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
What a stupid thread this is.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
We get the best intercept defender in the league who is tracking even better than Rance did at his age and a heap of you are still whinging. The draft is a complete lottery. Lever is a sure thing. This is to be celebrated not bemoaned!

Gryan Miers
I watched the TAC Cup grand final and he was unbelievable. Did some seriously freakish things. Would not be disappointed to see him in the red and blue next year and beyond.
