Having not seen too much of blease i really liked what i say against carlscum. Pace, pace pace. Nearly got run down once but overall looked ok. I think he shows more potential than most. Hopefully he will develop.

i have spoken to a well known past player who does not have a nice thing to say about danners at all. His point was he definately played some blokes regardless of form and didnt really matter how they went in the 2's. Fair bit of sour grapes from this said past player as it was towards the end of his playing days and blames danners for it. Just saying.

yep i heard this aswell. amazing really, even if hes not guilty hes still due for this payback when he returns home. Ronnie burns stated even if Obama was to intervene it would have no impact and LJ would still get payback as such. Will be interesting to see if LJ goes back. Has the footy club(by ignorance) got involved in something that will affect much more that one person. As an elder is it expected for him to go home and face the music? I have absolutely no education or knowledge of this matter(not sure if many do) and simply want for LJ to do the best thing for his community to push through the issues that are currently pulling a remote community to pieces.

that was interesting. I can kind of now understand why the form of some of the senior players was pretty poor last year. If the coach backs you, you back the coach. Players obviously develop close relationships with their coach and not so close with other ie Cameron. The senior boys were obviously backing Dean whilst there was a sh*tfight going on behind closed doors. Big Jim then wanted answers and the boys told their side as they would be expected to do. The rest is history but those senior boys would feel a massive part of Deans sacking ande they were in his corner. Cant imagine how hard this would be on them. Anyways lets just get on with and turn this great club around.

This will get some good responses. I personally could not give a rats bum where we get dollars from. Yes, some of his rants are a little off but he has a go at everyone. Over a few beers with some mates last night, i now officially believe this great club is in a whole lot of trouble. Look at the clubs who have been down and out over the last 15 years and look what they have done, flags to Norf, collingwood, geelong, hawks,port. These clubs have all been basket cases but have come out the other end(port not so much). The MFC is an absolute disgrace. We have had more coaches than hot dinners and are perinnial disapointments. Energy Watch gives us dollars and within 12 months it will all be forgotten about. MFC...................Man up and play on.

Exactly right. I didnt see the game only reading reviews through the papers. From what I can gather, although jamar got votes we got smashed through the middle and proceeded to bomb long to mitch who didnt kick a goal till the last 1/4. Give it atleast 2-4 games before putting players to see their careers out at casey. Yes its a horrid result, maybe, just maybe the senior players really are feeling are finding it without someone who was so dear to the club for their entire careers. Just a thought. Anyways, as we say every year lets see how they back it up this week

lets not get too carried away and put too much pressure on the debutants. look at last nights game, the debutants played no where near like they did in the nab cup. that said that was an amazing game of footy and was hard and quick. today we will show much needed improvement but a long way from the stripes last night.

I saw the article in HS about his contested marking etc. He was absolutely putrid. I was watching the game and surely he should be in the back half. He never once led with any urgency and had no idea what position to be in. His massive legs on the other hand simply enormous. And hes trimmed down.
