having played in a side that was most uncompetitive you can only take floggings so much, I dont care whether its afl or the lowest form of bush footy, its a bloody hard gig. yes they get paid a fair whack of cash but they are all still only human. I do agree though that you can still impose yourself on a game..........unless your midfield doesnt get the ball to you effectivly

cant see green being one of those as he has been right up there in the running and his skills are near the best at the club. its also been mentioned here he prepares himself in a most professional manner.

I think as neeld says he knows who he wants it will be green for sure. We know the players rate him with what they have said. The opposition coaches rate him re eade giving him the Australian honors and finally from what I know there would not be many at the club that are as professional. Too many questions remain over grimes and trenners is a tear or 2 away. Let the kid develop.

You will love this. I wanted a training jumper and have a tendency to buy the horrible pre season jumpers. I could not go past the magic 2011 jumper of the great 29. Before you all go silly i also bought Byron Picketts heritage round jumper. That one is a classic.

mmmmmmmmmm, I kinda feel for the kid. As was mentioned a long time ago what would you do if you were offered a big pay rise to go somewhere else. I myself at this very minute am weighing up whether to move to the other side of the country to double my salary. Luckily for me i will be FIFO of my hometown and will be 3 weeks on 3 off. Loyalty to my current employer is certainly something to think about. Money is definately the major factor. When asked by a colleague today i simply said no. I did this as my mind is not yet made up but i do not consider myself a "liar" or "dodgy" or any of the other things this 20 year old is being called. At the end of the day none of us herecan categorically say you would not take a pay rise of up to 100% to do the exact same job next year. I cant.

I have always backed Green and in that fact may be i bit biase but I can see Neeld loving his professilism and the way he goes about it and reappointing him next year. Im sure if brad thinks it was the captaincy that was the cause of his form(or lack thereof) he will address it and step aside. Capitan Green 2012 for me.

disagree hard tack. If it were an opposition playeri would have the exact same view. I have been a Fev backer for a long time. Yes these blokes are not the sharpest tools in the shed however they have simply done nothing wrong. If Col was driving yes, call for his head, the fact is he was not and you cant conrol what others do. The person who should be in the gun is the driver. At the end of the day these blokes are paid to play football. Yes there may be a culture issue along the line but they are exceptional athletes and they are renumerated accordingly. They are young men who still have lives although some think they should be locked in thier house if they are not training. If he is proven to have done wrong by anyone yes he needs to answer to his new coach, until then back off.

Really poor that most seem to condem him. He was a passenger. It was 645am not 345am. There was no other vehicles involved, he notified the club within an hour, HE WAS THE PASSENGER. Move on and lets get on with it.
