There was some stat on the Sunday Footy Show that there have been three rookie coaches start the season 0 - 9, all three won the tenth match. That certainly didn’t help with the MFCSS.

Yep this game has massive ramifications, while I don’t think he would quit I would see it as the end of the road for Goodwin and it would be just about when he gets sacked rather than will he.

No matter how many upgrades Demonland has had it will crash. And Goodwin may as well quit.

I don’t mind Lloyd but seriously there is no chance Oliver is getting traded, even if he asked to be traded I don’t think the club would do it. I don’t think we even need to trade Brayshaw if we had good midfield coaches our midfield should be much better than it is.

Not great news if he misses a couple of weeks. But I think it could actually help in a few different aspects. For one it will force Goodwin to change some tactics, it might also help the midfielders get some better space from one another at stoppages, it will certainly mean the opposition don’t spend all week working on reading Max’s hit outs and hopefully if Tom Mcdonald rucks it will almost force him to find the ball. Or it will be recipe for a disaster and Goodwin has an excuse that our Captain was out and we lacked leadership.

Cats v Eagles has started very well, hopefully the whole game is like this.

The Saints are very enjoyable to watch.

I am a big fan of Oliver and I certainly wouldn’t be dropping or trading him. He has lots to work on but he is doing lots right to. I also look at him and think he would be the easiest player on our list to coach and improve. And I think our midfield set up and structures help contribute to the rubbish handball to a player under more pressure. On his kicking it looks like he has lost all confidence in his ability to kick. Also prior to having surgery on his shoulders I thought he was a good kick but just didn’t kick enough, post surgery it’s like a different player kicking. On another note one of the best players in the comp and a club captain is also a rubbish kick and yet very few media people ever talk about it.

I would say worse, hardly any injuries new fitness boss, still a sniff of finals ( clearly not any more ). This is pathetic.

How bad might we play when where mathematically out of finals contention. This is putrid when the season is on the line.

Love it binman, I almost feel like chucking a couple of pineapples on us after that. Wouldn’t it be nice if we did what Richmond did last night and have the game in our control pretty much from the get go.

Not me, I was confident against Brisbane and thought we would win that but I have a sick feeling that we will be in front at three quarter time and lose.

I like Sam too and think he has helped our structure heaps since coming back in and couldn’t believe he wasn’t getting a game. But he just needs to kick easy set shots, ultimately it’s the difference between winning and losing.

Well I feel for everyone who has been emotionally attached to every game this year, this was the first game I have and I now feel horrible and sadly it’s an all to familiar feeling. We lost that, the umpiring particularly in the first half was terrible but we still should have won. So many dumb mistakes, so many familiar dumb mistakes. It’s just so infuriating. I am not really a fan of Goodwins but I feel a little bit for him, it must be so hard coaching a group that are clearly so stupid. Others have made comments about it but seriously how hard is it to get back of the mark. Whoever has been working on Petracca’s set shots needs to spend a lot of time with Weiderman. And as for Fritch I would drop him for that fifty.

Shocking quarter of footy lucky to be as close as we are. I don’t normally get to worked up about umpiring but this game has been atrocious.

We should be in front and should have had a lot more holding the man free kicks.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could do what West Coast are doing to Collingwood to the Lions.

The last couple of minutes by West Coast has been near perfect football.

Yeah sadly it feels like he will end up at Carlton which would make them very dangerous up forward. Might be just me but I am starting to enjoy the season and take more interest in it also. I am watching most games all the way through at the moment, where a few weeks ago was struggling to watch a half a game. Don’t get me wrong there is still some absolute rubbish games but there always is. I am also feeling the season while always going to have an asterisk next to it, it’s going to be more about how crap a year 2020 was rather than an unworthy Premier. Bloody hell I hope we keep winning.
