Well not a bad win in the end, should have been by more but still pretty good. Lots of room for improvement and it will be needed if we are to beat Collingwood. Team balance and selection will be very interesting next week. Goal kicking really needs to improve if we are going to beat half decent teams. I was dubious about taking a ruckman with our first pick, but right about now very happy we did. The kid certainly has some freakish ability and X factor, loving his work rate too.

We would have lost easily to both teams.

I haven’t seen it yet but will keep an eye out for it, one thing is for sure JB thinks highly of himself.

I must be in the minority but if McDonald is 100% fit, I am happy with him and Jackson sharing the ruck. I would have been much happier if Max rested last game rather than this one though.

Essendon losing no matter the margin always makes for a good weekend when it’s under a goal with a dodgy free kick just makes it a little sweeter.

I think he’s a bit unlucky, the margin between a good tackle and a dangerous one is very small. It will be interesting if the club challenges it or not.

Is there a mid season trade period? I hope so, I really think we need to trade Oliver.
