So so sad, I really feel for his family. The heart ache, pain, frustration, the un answered questions, the I should have done this or that they all eat at me everyday since my brother in law took his life nearly three years ago. Not too mention the pain of seeing your sister and niece go through hell. The level of suicide in Australia is appalling and way more needs to be done to help prevent it.

Well for me if you take out the fact we lost 1.5m last year on the back of a Prelim final and record membership, he was in charge when we gave Goodwin a three year contract extension and he didn’t get anybody from outside the club to review our footy department last year. I would say he is doing a great job.

The forward line looks much better with another tall in, the back line looks slow an unbalanced to me.

Pretty sure Pert was CEO when Goodwin got his contract extension.

Well given the way Victoria / Melbourne is going with Covid he could play for us and still be located out of Melbourne. I certainly think he his worth looking at but hey anyone with talent needs to be looked at.

I am starting to think we have done a Richmond circa Spuds time as coach and that is seriously over rate our own list and sell the farm thinking where closer to a flag than we are. We have so many issues it’s not funny, sadly the club thought injuries were the only problem last year if only that was the case.

This is simply not possible, St Kilda have a new coach and about five new players in their side. It takes years for a new coach to get their message across and the players to gel. I look forward to 2022 when Lever and May should have chemistry.

Just curious to what people think the fine will be that Essendon get for bringing the game into disrepute?

I feel a bit sorry for Goodwin on this, he sees Lever play intra club matches where he watches Lever look like a star. Only problem is Goodwin hasn’t worked out no other team in the competition is as dumb as us with there forward entries. Lever is right up there with the most overrated over paid players in the comp.

Just curious if people are actually looking forward to the footy coming back this year? Right at the moment I really couldn’t give a stuff about this year and the thought of watching Collingwood, Essendon and Richmond every week for the next five years is also sickening.
