Christian Petracca
Unfortunately there appears no end in sight for the embarrassing concept of talentless football journalists like Barret et al appearing in the media spouting opinions. They are not media stars or personalities but somehow have sucked the industry in to allow themselves to be portrayed that way. It is a sad indictment on what is generally accepted as media/entertainment.

Why does that clown think his opinion is relevant to anything ?

Problem is McLure muck rakes but doesn't say anything concrete so he cant be called out because he never confirms anything and has an easy way out, he is an award winning journalist who had his award rescinded

Kozzy Homesick & Wants to Leave?
I received the following intel from a source close to the club but wished to remain anonymous due to the sensitive nature of the matter If Fremantle’s Hayden Young does ask the Dockers for a trade, it’s understood he wants to play for Melbourne. The Demons are fully aware of Young's desire to join them in the event he chooses to leave Fremantle. pass it on... (AFL Journalism 2024)

Kozzy Homesick & Wants to Leave?
a week ago Posted August 20 Well that settles it then. Melbourne has been assured by Kysaiah Pickett’s management that he is content at the Demons despite continual approaches from clubs across the country. Pickett signed a new deal last April until 2027 and while he has spent time in Adelaide and West Australia growing up he does not consider either of them his home town. Clubs including Port Adelaide have recently again upped the ante as they attempt to bring him back to the state where he lived with his uncle, Power legend Byron Pickett, for a time as he approached draft age. But his manager Peter Rohde confirmed on Tuesday he had spoken with Melbourne football boss Alan Richardson as recently as Tuesday morning to assure him there was nothing to the speculation. Pickett loves the city of Darwin and its tropical weather as an escape from the bitter cold of Melbourne’s winters. But unless the AFL fast-tracks a 20th team into the Northern Territory before he retires, he will remain with Melbourne for the foreseeable future. All Melbourne players have been disappointed with their response to a pair of straight-sets finals departures, flat they could not put together a deep finals run. But as the Demons prepare to take on Collingwood in their round 24 clash on Friday night, his focus is on fulfilling his contract. Ironically Pickett has just been spruiking the city in a fashion shoot for the City of Melbourne for splashed across his Instagram pages. He and partner Ardu welcomed their first child in April this year, with Pickett enjoying a solid but not brilliant season with 34 goals after 40, 41 and 37 majors in his past three seasons for the Demons.

Email from Peter Lawrence
he is pushing for an independent review of the club and I think a lot of people would agree but is this the best way to go about it?

Trade Targets
I have no real knowledge of Brandan Parfitt or whether he is any good or not but he is on the move and fits the age demographic for our needs https://www.zerohanger.com/out-of-favour-midfielder-reportedly-on-the-move-afl-trade-news-154543/

Kate Roffey
FWIW Received the following standard response from the club, not Roffey herself, yesterday of all days. Thanks for your email and for contacting the Melbourne Football Club. It’s incredibly important for the Club that our leaders are hearing from our members and supporters, which is why these inboxes have been created. Whilst Kate Roffey will endeavour to respond to as many emails as possible, that won’t always be physically possible. While the 2024 AFL season hasn’t been the one we would’ve hoped for, the focus is now on understanding what is required to move forward. There have been conversations with many of our leaders, Christian Petracca included, over recent weeks, about our opportunities for growth. These conversations, which are a regular part of footy, have been open and constructive, and stem from how we can get better as a football club. Our leaders are committed to working together to find a path forward, towards improvement for the 2025 season. Thanks for your continued support.

Can we all email the club and ask for the personal address and email of Peter Lawrence so we can provide him with our thoughts on his legal proceedings?
