Gawn rucking at Casey with Campbell (soon hopefully) will be great for his development... not that i'm glad Spencer is gone, but i see more future in Gawn than Pencil.
I hate life so much sometimes. Had to be the week before we played the Kangas too didn't it. Goddamn.
Oh well. Evans, Nicholson and Blease all might get a chance soon.
Two things:
1) Regarding Bennell - "Jamie’s in the team to tackle and chase and he plays his role each week". Uhm, tackling and chasing should be part of every players defensive game, not be their sole role in the side?
2) Colin (the Garland variety) shouldve got more praise than he did. Garlo will be an AA defender in our premiership year.
Whilst its really a minor thing, it being mothers day wont help. The people who are a bit like, "I dont want to watch us lose" just have an extra excuse not to go.
Out of the available people who have been senior coaches prior, Malthouse or Roos only for me. However, i am guessing both of them will only doing it for big lumps of cash, so...
How could BP have foreseen Blease breaking his leg? Maybe if he hadn't he would've played 20 games by now.
More concerning is Strauss, when Ballantyne, Trengove (Port), Hannebery all went within the next 10 picks of him.
I'm looking towards the NM game at Etihad in 2 weeks time. If we can beat them there, it will go a long way to renewing my faith in the players going forward.
The hit was just as bad, if not worse than Rioli's hit on Jones - which he copped a week for. Might be lucky that unlike Jones, the bloke Tappy hit didn't stay down like he got shot.
Brad Green i think
Anyway..
IN: Maric, Petterd, Morton
OUT: Wonna, Bennell, *****
***** = depending on the casey game. If Blease has another good game...
Tapscott is gonna get suspended one day for being a little too rough once the ball had gone past (could even cop a suspension from tonights game, considering Cyril got a game for what he did...)
