  1. Kicked 6.1 yesterday in the Q Colts.
  2. Stats aren’t out yet for today, but Ah-Mu kicked 3.1 yesterday. Boding well for 2025
  3. https://central.rookieme.com/afl/2024/08/13/scouting-notes-2024-afl-u17s-vic-metro-vs-queensland/ https://central.rookieme.com/afl/2024/08/12/scouting-notes-2024-afl-u17s-vic-country-vs-nsw-act/ Not mentioned, but "tough day to play forward for Vic Metro" and their key forward didn't do anything for 3 quarters is a good sign for Kalani. Ah-Mu kicked a goal and set up at least one other.
  4. Quickly on the NGAs, AMW could be up for a List A promotion due to the games he has played and there is a club who has requested that Riak Andrew and Ricky Mentha be trialed at the State Combine (generally means only 1 club has asked the question). Both are potential Category B's for us. Thus, don't be surprised to see both potentially be picked up by the Dees and Yze on the Cat A rookie list.
  5. And there has been nothing to suggest with the lead up that they couldn't both be in first round contention. It is a real, this could be huge, moment for the Dees. If both end up being top line AFL footballers, that is some KPP and rucks sorted.
  6. Gawn Rivers Langdon Bowey Sparrow Fritch
  7. Football is a secondary to Langdon, its between him and the rest of his life. I haven't heard anything, I thought the same thing earlier this year that it was odd and I wonder if he is considering retiring early, but yes, huge loss. He could help us out and get a trade and then retire as soon as the paper work is done 🤣
  8. Played well. Not disssimilar to how Brown went last year. Stuck to his role, did the team thing. His running impressed me and so did his tackling. I would have liked to have seen him kick the sealer instead of pass it off to Billings, but showed great aweness. Went too hard at times to give away some free kicks, but seemed a little better than the Casey listed players debuts I remember. I can see us rooking him, but not national draft. And probably think a Fritch or Jefferson level of development. Would need a couple of years.
  9. Booooooo!!!!! Yze runs to take an outlet mark. Got it to Kent field and then bolted to the pocket and got it back. Then set up billing’s for the goal instead of kicking the sealer himself.
  10. Laurie’s had a really good second half. There is some terrible choices under pressure, but he’s the one who keeps being given the ball / finding the ball under pressure - so there is that.
  11. We’ve really missed Jefferson up forward today. And probably Schache for that matter. It’s not surprising that McAdam has struggled without Jefferson setting him up / being at his feet.
  12. Hunter and Woey are on ice.
  13. Stats don’t look great, but agreed that a) I’d play him again in the vfl this year and b) there is a rookie spot for him.
  14. And I do wonder if he can play the role We are making sparrow play better than sparrow?
  15. Good: Fullerton around the ground, Seaston through packs, Howes sure hands and kicking, Pup’s intensity, BBB all around game, Woey’s class. Frustrating: Billings and Laurie who are much better players than they are showing today. Tomlinson is not as dominant (conditions? Game plan of Dons?), Hore is finding his feet again, Schache not gelling with the backline yet, young KPP - not a day for them. mcAdam is out there, but not having an impact.
  16. Ben Brown very good today. That was his goal. He was the one who got the intercept out of nothing.
  17. Kynan Brown did his best not to concede a goal, but his teammates were adamant to keep making mistakes and he could not clean up a 4th in a row….
  18. If you are looking for a ruckman for next week, there isn’t one. But Fullerton is doing plenty around the ground.
  19. Sound good on laptop. they are playing like the afl team can make finals.
  20. Noah’s pressure almost caused a goal. Missed the kick into the forward 50. Marking Contest on the wing - just a little too small, but not by much. And then some more pressure to cause a stoppage further down the ground.
  21. He’s had some big games for Caulfield. A 35 disposal game included. No idea what comes of it all, but would love to see us have a go with him considering he’s doing a lot more than Rosman did and they have similar height, running capacity.
  22. Moniz has so many possessions because he is running hard with the 1-2 and linking up. Sadly he isn’t the one who ends up kicking inside 50. Great half of footy. Seaston played Q1 inside 50 and now playing Trac/ANB roll of being around the contest and running forward in Q2 and being a difference maker. billings on the wing. Playing nice. Nothing to report, he’s a nice player. He can kick a football and run Laurie had a great Q1. He’s in and around, just not getting it (mainly as White is a man possessed in the centre). B Brown hasn’t really been targeted. Jeffo been looking really dangerous (just took another pack mark as I wrote this). He’s playing on a defender in Keelor who has been good today, but not a great defender. Kolt - fades in and out. Considering the number of first round picks out there, he’s certainly one of the best of them. Verrall is getting beaten but you can see he can play. Adams - he’s been ok. But someone needs to be Membry and if it was Tomlinson or Turner, they’d be on him. Adams isnt. So read into that as you will. k Brown - good Q2. Rotating mid, and forward.
  23. Jeffo with a good contested mark but fades right.
  24. I have so much love for Seaston and Tholstrop. They just scrap and fight. They are not going to die wondering about an AFL career.
  25. Is he playing in the wrong number?
