Our club has more issues than that... why does one of our ex club captains, continue to be a long term scout/recruiter for Hawthorn and not for us.

My father to me as a 5yo; "You can barrack for any team you like. But you will only see them twice a year. When they play Melbourne." haha and he was a mad Essendon fan but was zoned to Melbourne under 19's. Exactly this time last year we beat Richmond and I was walking towards Richmond station and noticed a dad (Richmond jumper) carrying his baby about 12 months old in a Melbourne jumper and his wife (Melbourne jumper) and i asked him what was up with that? He said it was his girls first ever game and because Melbourne won, their girl will be forever a Melbourne supporter haha Makes me wonder how gutted he must be today after the tigers smashed us and how many 50/50 kids did we lose on Saturday....

playing this game style we cannot, Will not win a game. Whats wrong with winning games of football no matter how we play? If the team isn't ready to play one way, then make them play another way. from what i saw yesterday - they didn't stick to hardly any part of the gameplan. listening to greeny on the sunday footy show actually helped explained quite a lot. Bombing it down the line and letting someone contest the ball is the easy way out. There is no responsibility involved when you just kick it to the contest down the line. It should be the last resort, not the first. Teething problems. Next week i'm positive we will take more risks and look to the centre and move the ball a hell of a lot faster and more effectively. This will take a bit more pressure off the midfield and get greeny and davey more involved in the game.
