PRESEASON TRAINING: Wednesday 31st January 2024
Looks from the photo like Clarrie has put on about a meter in height - maybe he will be in tandem with Max. ๐๐๐ค I have said before - justice delayed is justice denied (unless there has been a non publicised hearing and penalty already). Q for track watchers - could sit be at least that some of that those "in rehab" or "light duties" are just having their loads managed scientifically?

PRESEASON TRAINING: Monday 29th January 2024
Perhaps you meant James - said to be "an elite kick" but didn't get it enough to prove it.

IF JVR and Petty have injury-free uninterrupted seasons then that would be amazing

Forward Line & Backup Ruck Issues Going into 2024 and beyond ...
I suspect that the poster meant JVR to do some of the ruck work some of the time deep forward, as have many successful KPP forwards over the years at many clubs. and didn't look into the Time Machine to see Fullerton do a hammy !! How negligent. Sack Taylor now.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Friday 26th January, 2024
And I thought that this was the exclusive domain of Collingwood, Geelong, Carlton? So nobody should partake in a 3 hour session, in your opinion? When? Whom? Woewoden ?? Sure could be, probably are in fact. Maybe Bowey or Billings. Not Spargo though. And as mentioned above, maybe Woey

PRESEASON TRAINING: Monday 22nd January 2024
Many thanks again, Mr Fence. ๐ From the glowing report I can see the only reason to place bets for 2024 would be as to who will be runners up in our GF slaughter. ๐

Lachie Hunter Calf Issue
Bombers an injured player will be "grounded" Crash landed sounds much better.

Who will be the Judd McVee of 24?
I hope Rex Hunt doesnโt get a microphone this year - I fear what he would do with that. Even though he was a come from nowhere surprise speculative pick, and has only had one (interrupted) season at VFL, I see 2024 as a make of break year for Ollie. He could be an excitement machine if he does make it. Hereโs hoping. ๐ค๐ค

Weight Issues
Thatโs good because trans fats are bad for you. The AFL are again showing that they really donโt have their priorities right. No weight listed but still SFA regarding protecting the head - all ad hoc Angusโ assailant cleared vs Kozzie and JVR being suspended for trivial actions cases in point. Nothing about level playing field regarding scheduling (aka โthe drawโ). But no weights. Will the VRC etc stop listing jockey weight and stop declaring โcorrect weightโ? Maybe they will say โall clearโ instead?

Harrison Petty
Censorship algorithm needs to be refined for context. [censored] for tat, the pretty little bird the blue [censored], OK, unlike those seen in a topless bar. Same goes for the common nickname for anyone called Richard, and the commonly used word for a cat.

Harrison Petty
.... and there is a rumour (started right here, right now) that Diamond Jim Tilbrook will be making a comeback - need megabucks for him. (Santa and the Tooth Fairy may save us).

2023 Player Reviews: #38 Oliver Sestan
I am sure he understands but he has only had one preseason - are your observations based on this preseason or last playing season?
-
2023 Player Reviews: #13 Clayton Oliver
Huge challenges ahead for Clayton and for the entire club and supporter base. But as Neitschke said, what doesnโt kill you makes you stronger. Letโs all get together behind the club and Clayton. It is a New Year - must look forward not backwards.

2023 Player Reviews: #21 Matt Jefferson
stinga - do you seriously rate him over JVR? Hope you are right but that is a huge call.

2023 Player Reviews: #35 Harrison Petty
Harrison will play a vital role in premiership calculations. If fully fit he has so much to offer as a forward - strong marking, leading, kicking set shots, yet also a serious option as a (Premiership) defender if needed.

2023 Player Reviews: #12 Lachie Hunter
Competition for places is so important. IMVHO he did an OK job 2023, but needs to at least go even and probably improve with competition from the likes of Wowoden II, Howes, and. even Billings (maybe) and Windsor.

2023 Player Reviews: #32 Tom Sparrow
Love the guy - tough, strong and a booming kick (bang, bang, bang) Can only get even better with time and maturity. Go Tom.

2023 Player Reviews: #19 Josh Schache

Congratulations Goody
For those of us who are technologically challenged and canโt understand X or whatever, what are they being congratulated on?

2023 Player Reviews: #45 Andy Moniz-Wakefield
MrFreeze - that is a great positive story, but actually seasons and matches are not won on Instagram. Can all three fit into the same forward line??
-
2023 Player Reviews: #40 Taj Woewodin
In his few games he looked strong, courageous and a smart footballer. Were the choice mine he would have been the sub in both finals.

2023 Player Reviews: #25 Tom McDonald
I feel so sorry for Tom - he was an important part in our flag, and in us getting as far as we did in 2018. He works hard, is strong and well bulked in the upper body, but has been let down repeatedly by his foot. Now time is against him and sadly I suspect that time will pass him by, though I hope deep down that he will be able to make a big contribution in what will surely be his final season. Thanks Tom.
