  1. They do love inventing new rulings against us (MFCSS). โ€œViney guilty of standing up in a reckless manner!โ€ 6weeks
  2. Finished 2 after H&A - totally banged up and out in straight sets. Still a way better follow up season than Cats or Dogs.
  3. Bad dropped mark by ratatouille.
  4. I thought that Hawkins was out for the season.
  5. You could save your time and watch the replay of his presser on the AFL site. It will look like this ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
  6. No doubt it will be enforced tomorrow night against Melbourne if any of our players even raise their eyebrows - MFCSS
  7. So even very vehement dissent is not 50 against Collingwood. That was blatant and prolonged. (PS it was clearly out).
  8. Poor BT must have something deep in his past memory some association between mushrooms and bull ๐Ÿ’ฉ โ€ฆ but canโ€™t correlate properly, and doesnโ€™t realize that he is speaking it.
  9. And of course there is our ANB referred in the 2021 as Bullen ok. Then just an 8 week hamstring. He obviously needs to take that straight to the Board.
  10. I wonโ€™t be able to watch the game but I look forward especially hearing about how Tom MCD looks after all this time. A great opportunity for him to stake a claim, though I wouldnโ€™t expect too much from him first up.
  11. But maybe with Gawn and Brundy in the team the bench would be in less need of a ruck or ruck capable tall - a hybrid or even a mid in these circumstances.
  12. Marginal seats all around the area
  13. Fisher McAsey sounds like he needs a proctologist.
  14. How come the GW$ and GC$ guys looked like they were surrounded by like minded folk? I guess AI thinks that there are more than one of each, which is artificial.
  15. Mr fence. Great to see outliers like you and s o n s suggesting patience. ๐Ÿ‘. So many see anyone who doesnโ€™t make it in year 1 or 2 as being a spud, a dud, a dud spud list clogger, or some other derogatory term Our new KPP forward, whose forthcoming prolonged absence we are now bemoaning, started in 2018 with one game best forgotten, many describing him as in my previous paragraph, calling for his immediate delisting. He didnโ€™t really come into serious discussion until Tomlinsonโ€™s injury in 2021 when he worked hard and became a premiership KPP defender. So we can see that patience is required with these bigger players.
  16. Mea culpa. I was one of many frustrated by Goodyโ€™s game day coaching โ€ฆ.. but he actually turns out to be a lot better than any of us armchair critics. Surprise that!
  17. Good to be so positive, from someone who has reached the pinnacle before. Now though is the time to walk the walk and silence the doubters. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™
  18. Thanks for your positivity again, Roost. ๐Ÿ™„ Just maybe he has 6 more excellent games left in his foot - I for one hope so. โœ”๏ธ I love your detailed and positive analysis once again binman. Thanks.
  19. Correct me if I am wrong, but did Tom Hawkins do much until at least his third season on the list? I can remember seeing one of his early games and he looked fairly ordinary. Just saying.
  20. Surely you could have been a bit more negative - where is spud or list clogger ? From what I have heard he is a footballer, a good mark and kick who needs more meat on the bones.
  21. Are YOU the archetypal MFC supporter? Agree. Not sure that Clarrie, our brilliant courageous footballer is ever in the running for a Nobel Prize in philosophy or rocket science. I do get the impression that he may either choose not to follow to the letter, or perhaps fully understand, his rehabilitation and recovery programme. He just loves the basics and wants to play footy.
  22. dazzle - just saw this now 2 year old post. We have all had a lot more time to assess Josh both as an opponent in the 21 GF, throughout 22 at the Dogs and now a bit closer in 23. Have you anything to add or change about your views on his approach to the game and the contest? Can he really make the next step? Thanks in anticipation. PS I do realise that this is a Mitch Hannan thread.
  23. Play - I am happy that you finally picked up my irony / sarcasm. ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค—
  24. Well that just goes to show that stats can mean very little. 40% or stats mean something and the other 80% donโ€™t. ๐Ÿ™„
  25. Full recovery, full preseason - absolutely no reason not to be > 50 goals actually. Especially with another preseason for JVR. They would be a very formidable combination - both aggressive, athletic, grab at the highest point and deadly accurate kicks. So unfortunate that he has twice started to show the goods and twice injured his foot. Any โ€œexpertsโ€ able to make observations re modern footy boots and foot injuries?
