NON-MFC: Rd 22 2023
Finished 2 after H&A - totally banged up and out in straight sets. Still a way better follow up season than Cats or Dogs.

I thought that Hawkins was out for the season.

You could save your time and watch the replay of his presser on the AFL site. It will look like this ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ

NON-MFC: Rd 22 2023
No doubt it will be enforced tomorrow night against Melbourne if any of our players even raise their eyebrows - MFCSS

NON-MFC: Rd 22 2023
So even very vehement dissent is not 50 against Collingwood. That was blatant and prolonged. (PS it was clearly out).

NON-MFC: Rd 22 2023
Poor BT must have something deep in his past memory some association between mushrooms and bull ๐ฉ โฆ but canโt correlate properly, and doesnโt realize that he is speaking it.

NON-MFC: Rd 22 2023
And of course there is our ANB referred in the 2021 as Bullen ok. Then just an 8 week hamstring. He obviously needs to take that straight to the Board.

CASEY: Rd 21 vs Carlton VFL
I wonโt be able to watch the game but I look forward especially hearing about how Tom MCD looks after all this time. A great opportunity for him to stake a claim, though I wouldnโt expect too much from him first up.

What AI Thinks Fans of Each Club Look Like
How come the GW$ and GC$ guys looked like they were surrounded by like minded folk? I guess AI thinks that there are more than one of each, which is artificial.

How far away is Matt Jefferson?
Mr fence. Great to see outliers like you and s o n s suggesting patience. ๐. So many see anyone who doesnโt make it in year 1 or 2 as being a spud, a dud, a dud spud list clogger, or some other derogatory term Our new KPP forward, whose forthcoming prolonged absence we are now bemoaning, started in 2018 with one game best forgotten, many describing him as in my previous paragraph, calling for his immediate delisting. He didnโt really come into serious discussion until Tomlinsonโs injury in 2021 when he worked hard and became a premiership KPP defender. So we can see that patience is required with these bigger players.

2023 Injury List
Mea culpa. I was one of many frustrated by Goodyโs game day coaching โฆ.. but he actually turns out to be a lot better than any of us armchair critics. Surprise that!

Petracca: The Dees are Ready for September
Good to be so positive, from someone who has reached the pinnacle before. Now though is the time to walk the walk and silence the doubters. โค๏ธ๐โค๏ธ๐

Thanks for your positivity again, Roost. ๐ Just maybe he has 6 more excellent games left in his foot - I for one hope so. โ๏ธ I love your detailed and positive analysis once again binman. Thanks.

How far away is Matt Jefferson?
Correct me if I am wrong, but did Tom Hawkins do much until at least his third season on the list? I can remember seeing one of his early games and he looked fairly ordinary. Just saying.

How far away is Matt Jefferson?
Surely you could have been a bit more negative - where is spud or list clogger ? From what I have heard he is a footballer, a good mark and kick who needs more meat on the bones.

2023 Injury List
Are YOU the archetypal MFC supporter? Agree. Not sure that Clarrie, our brilliant courageous footballer is ever in the running for a Nobel Prize in philosophy or rocket science. I do get the impression that he may either choose not to follow to the letter, or perhaps fully understand, his rehabilitation and recovery programme. He just loves the basics and wants to play footy.

Farewell Mitch Hannan
dazzle - just saw this now 2 year old post. We have all had a lot more time to assess Josh both as an opponent in the 21 GF, throughout 22 at the Dogs and now a bit closer in 23. Have you anything to add or change about your views on his approach to the game and the contest? Can he really make the next step? Thanks in anticipation. PS I do realise that this is a Mitch Hannan thread.

Have we officially found our full forward?
Full recovery, full preseason - absolutely no reason not to be > 50 goals actually. Especially with another preseason for JVR. They would be a very formidable combination - both aggressive, athletic, grab at the highest point and deadly accurate kicks. So unfortunate that he has twice started to show the goods and twice injured his foot. Any โexpertsโ able to make observations re modern footy boots and foot injuries?
