2024 Jumper Numbers
Me too. As I remember some wanted JV7 to take 12. And I sadly remember LJ48 wasn't even half the player when he became LJ24. Not too fussed though really - a first world sort of problem. JS29, aka SOSS29 has worked out ok.

Welcome to Demonland: Tom Fullarton
Welcome to this madhouse, Tom. You are now a Demon - you will get my full support though I have no idea myself how good a player you are. Someone in our usually spot on recruiting department thinks you are worth a list spot. That will do me at lest for now. I will remain open minded and hope others will too.

Others have covered my reply - early retirement doesn’t clear their salaries from our cap.

All the aforementioned FFs knew how to lead into the path of the ball. Had they been instructed to all gather in the pocket ready for a bomb they would never have achieved what they did. Are our FFs instructed NOT to lead, or haven't they and those upfield, and those instructing them, thought it may be a good idea?

Though they regularly lose members who inadvertently sail off the edge.

Training Ground?
Public transport access is probably the best anywhere in Victoria and when the multi billion dollar rail tunnel opens, if it runs ok, will link even more quickly with northern and western suburbs. The Caulfield Station itself needs some upgrades especially improving inter connectivity between platforms without having to leave and re-enter but that won’t affect those whose destination is Caulfield, or who wish to depart from there.

Harrison Petty
No worries - but Gil or Dill would find some deceitful way of justifying it.

Farewell Brodie Grundy
Great question. Answer TBA MFCSS tells me that the AFL will wait to see what we do before announcing anything. If we part ways they will extend the interchange: if he stays they will change the rule that no ruckman can ever be named on the interchange. 🙄😱MFCSS + PS straight swap for Guerdion (?spelling) would be ok 🤗🤗

Stuff drafting a kid, poach a key forward.
and, as well as none of those scenarios working, there were the additional issues of Fritfoot, Pettyfoot, and Melknee. How many hits can a team take in a key area, and survive - in retrospect we did bloody well to finish H&A 4th, and to come very close in two finals.

He would miss the farm, unless we allowed him to cultivate Goshs' paddock or Casey

Xavier Duursma
What sort of injuries? Impact I would accept: recurring soft tissue would be a flashing red light.

Farewell James Harmes
Do you mean Melbourne's first premiership coach in over half a century who has coached a team to top 4 H&A three years in a row???

Any word on Angus?
There are way more reasons than you cite as to why we kept Clarrie.

Harrison Petty
Maybe a Coleman medal would convince Harrison to stay 🤔? Fully fit he is certainly capable of this feat. Stay Harry - win another flag, a Coleman and maybe even a Normie.

Not sure if coach Macrae could actually kick goals on the field, whomever he was coaching.

2024 Fixture
only if his Achilles' allows him to Seriously any team that has to play in Darwin needs it to be immediately before their bye, or at very least an 8 day break.

2023 Best and Fairest
OMG the “gone to Port” rumours will be up and running soon. GNS I agree that he was probably a great sports medicine practitioner and a lovely guy, but every health practitioner’s primary responsibility according to AHPRA (and Hippocrates) is to each end every patient, and is morally if not legally required to tell his employer to get stuffed if he detects any hanky panky at all. Turning a blind eye is not an option. I am genuinely happy that he helped you, as he no doubt did for many others including Essendon players, but my point remains.

Maynard must get at least four weeks
Poor Maynard is apparently the victim in all this, not Angus who caused all this stress on the poor guy 😡😡😡😡😡 Not half as toxic as that lizard Maynard, and the AFL acquiescing in their total hypocrisy.

Any word on Angus?
No wonder some people suggest that the AFL is a totally corrupt body given the lack of due process and the non recusal of the Collingwood tribunal chairman. Maynard playing again in 2023 after his (at very very least) careless / reckless assault on Angus makes me absolutely ill. I have not been able to watch any final since🤮 It makes me question whether there is any scrap of integrity at all anywhere in the AFL.
