  1. If you want to stalk him, he eats at the 'Milkbar' in acland st St Kilda pretty regularly. Along with Paul Roos and Dusty.(seperate tables but they talk shop).
  2. Singing the song, May and Melks have a hug
  3. Petty is AA, he is just brilliant. Brayshaw huge all night. Please I cannot watch us kick it to Brown anymore, thank you, like you, but not the KPF we need. Thanks Melks love your work. Cannot understand how we got picked apart in the contest, without our defence we would have been blown up. Salem looking better each week.
  4. Chaos here in Finland....
  5. KOOOOZZZZZZZZIIIIIEEEEEEE ITS A GOAL ITS A GOAL ITS A GOAL ITS A GOAL....
  6. It's the hope that kills you, but I have no hope when they kick it to Brown. How has this Carlton midfield matched ours, stoppage play won by them, as I type Melksham the basta7d gives me hope again...
  7. Am pretty sure suspension only counts for H+A, after some shenanigans in finals 20 years ago.
  8. After the ‘23 premiership.
  9. As the resident UN Official, the computer says ‘No’. For Crimes against Humanity I sentence him to 12 months of Protection Cluster meetings in a protracted emergency
  10. For sure he knows the words to ‘This Is Me’, I actually think he’d get along with the list. We are not building, we are hot now, the next four years is our sweet spot. We are a contest based side with Oliver, Tracy, Viney, Sparrow who deserve a matching ruck; and I think Grundy would be great for the defensive structures as well. He is however not a KPF and that is what we are all balding about.
  11. I am more nervous than if the Purge was about to start. Silly really as by any metric we should flatten them. I guess my fear is this thread should it be a close game. BTW big shout out to everyone going, super jealous, make some noise.
  12. Collingwood is a hard running team, I kind of thought that was our trick as well, McRae coach of the year, unless we win the GF, amazing turnaround in a season. BTW if. Lingers is up and about he must be feeling confidant, I like that he walks the talk..
  13. Podcast was good viewing and some fun questions. I got the feeling tensions were a bit high at the time he revealed.
  14. Garry Lyon, talked about ‘weighted votes’ i.e. big games should be worth more and went on to laud Viney, much to my satisfaction.
  15. Thank you, i had seen this but was hoping for a complete table, but AFL statistic etc don’t seem to have. Am to lazy to try and aggregate each round.
  16. I checked a couple of sites as i wanted to see all coaches votes, any links that anyone knows of ? Wanted more than the top 20.
  17. Excellent comment, was looking for this today, the JB 'bees to a honeypot' comment, was very pleased to notice Gus held his width on a couple of occasions to our advantage in play, was chuffed.
  18. Very surprised to be saying this but Melk stays, unless they have a tagging job they think Harmes would be good at. He has found something haven't seen in him in a long time. Sparrow had a great game and ANB has had a strong season.
  19. Viney Petracca Brayshaw Kozzie Petty Hibberd Massive apologies to Sparrow and Fritsch
  20. Why GWS is not playing finals? He will be professional and finish the season.
  21. Have you ever heard a team positional/structure suggestion from a supporter/media nong that actually made sense (part 1) and you wanted to try (part 2). Tipping answer is no
  22. Worth a conversation
  23. As if anyone would take that job, rather be the receptionist in the Russian embassy in Kiev.
  24. Literally my week is ruined when we lose, I stew on it, am grumpy, etc, I defy anyone to say they are more [censored] off than me. I have not stopped thinking about the losses, Freo, Swans, Geelong, bloody Collingwood, (Dogs I really wasn't fussed) I've got no dramas with calls for players to be dropped, not at AFL level, bemoan tactical coaching mistakes, that is all fine and dandy, even if I don't agree or I think the positives of a player have been overlooked. But what drives me bonkers is when folks have a go at a players integrity, call them soft or whatever. This is like my children are being insulted, and makes me furiously angry (after already being surly at the loss). So while I believe in free speech etc, insult my kids, then watch out, am talking generally and not you specifically. My French wife thinks I am clown when watching footy, but indulges me (i've posted about this before but it got deleted)....anyway... Sometimes reading Demonland, I think I'm the deelusional one, that I am cooked, and that I have no clue about football, because I still see so many positives, like watching Melk get better two weeks in a row, Sparrow having a ripper game, Brayshaw's bravery backing into packs, Kozzie's immense fwd half pressure. I am not blind I see the need and things to improve (I pray that Salem turns a corner soon), I'm just not a zero sum kinda man, and when I balance it up I still see plenty to like and don't think the season is done. I've put more people on ignore this year than I have done in the rest of my time on Demonland. And I really do believe we are not finished yet, 2 more wins and a finals series it will still be the second best season of my 52 year life (1988+2000 we were always a long shot, now we are deadly dangerous). So in essence, throw your punches, just no low blows... NB. The Swans loss where Paddy McCartin had a blinder I must admit I was happy for the bloke, what a journey he has had.
