The MFC has been a poor team for the majority of the last 48 years with the exception of a couple of blibs. Not much for 48 years. I think you are attempting to put spin on fairly poor performance over nearly half a century. IMO we have been perennial losers way more often than the reverse. Lets forget about the glorys of half a century ago and get on with winning games. That is what will make us a power again

I keep making allowances for him rpfc He has had a couple of very bad injuries. But at this point I am under whelmed. He fits in the group containing Tapscott and a couple of others for me. Yet to see that they are more than average

Interesting PSD that since I started supporting the MFC I have seen most clubs have good and bad periods. West Perth have had some periods of prolonged success in the last 48 years but the MFC a couple of brief blips of success with decades of crap. We have had some very poor administrations over the years. It is puzzling that one team could have so many for so long Six flags while we have racked up zero

In the case of Carlton they have a couple of mighty benefactors, a good list and good support. I don't believe the Pies have much in the way of debt that is not covered by assets, a good list and they have hugh following / support. We are so far behind those two we cannot hear the band. But I do agree we need wins and lots of them in 2014

IMO young dee nothing counters for poor disposal. Quite often it is the difference between the good teams and the poor ones.

I do not have a good answer sue except to saw that in my experience 90% of players who are poor kickers of the ball in their youth don't improve much over time. If by your early 20's you are a poor kick chances are you won't improve. IMO those are the odds Don't waste time on them most won't improve by any significant degree

IMHO 4 of the above will be. 3 are not up to it, 1 has large concussion problems and the other will stay because he is real tryer.

ls I have been to training a number of times this year. The good part is we always look like world beaters. Believe it or not I mostly enjoy the MFC or I would stop I just try and keep in mind were we are at in the real world. Reality sets in around 2.30 on Sunday.

Hair departed long ago Chippy, so I do have a number of hats. Not that I would enjoy having to eat one. I was standing there today thinking this is better than most games I have been to over the last 5 years. 90% of the players look like champions, we never lose a game and I walk back to my car In a good mood.
