A few months ago He agreed to stay till the end of 2014. Nothing since RR I would love to have proof he is staying besides gut feel. The subject just seems very quiet. I am hoping for an announcement on Monday night!

The start of the 2014 season is staring us in the face and in another 7 -8 months we will be without a CEO. There seems so far to be no news of a search for a replacement. Will there be an announcement on Monday night that Mr. Peter Jackson is staying past 2014? If not where do we go from here? PJ has proved the worth of a good CEO where do we find a replacement as good? Thoughts anyone?

Tapscott has been around since 2009, has seldom been uninjured and when he has he has produced very little in his 46 games. Must be on his last chance in 2014 to show something that warrants his position on the list Michie is a kid who through injury has played a half of one game. He deserves a second chance at the dees which he is getting. Right now lots of people think he will be an AFL player however no one knows until he proves it But right now IMO it is fanciful to imagine he is the one to lead us out of the wilderness. My summery is Tapscott has so far been a failure who is on his last chance and Michie is a kid that has show some promise who could be anywhere between wonderful and useless. I dont think that in 2014 they have much in common besides playing for the MFC.

They over saw what may well be the worse 6-7 years in the MFC history. There was not one failure that IMO was not self created. Poor coach selection, poor recruitment, poor administration, poor FD selection and administration, poor selection of medical staff. All these people were at the helm when it was all going on. Who else is responsible? The " long wretched set of circumstances " you describe was their own creation. Please they were well meaning but abject failures.

Amen to that WJ. I have been saying similar for six years but quite a few dees supporters don't want to know! There is IMO one way out and that is win games, start doing that and we have a chance.
