  1. I wont be! In the past few years we have treated new draftees badly by playing them before they had time to develop. I want this kid to be a champion at the MFC during 2016 - 2020 period. If that means he is in the outer or playing at Casey for most of 2014 then so be it. I will disappointed if Dawes does not play this weekend and Clark by the 3rd round. They are seasoned players on big money. Time they earned it.
  2. As I am sure you are aware BB we really find out if anything has changed on March 22nd. We have had a large number of NGE players over the last few years time will tell if any of them are really AFL standard.
  3. What games in 2012-3? I thought they were training films from the other 17 sides? Now I really feel bad.
  4. It's me every now and then I get one of these strange feelings but it quickly passes!
  5. I think I am correct in saying that he is an restricted free agent. So if we match his offer he stays correct? If that were to happen it would be the first occasion since the rules came in that this was enforced. Interesting times ahead.
  6. It is surprising how quickly this event becomes the high light of the MFC year and how early our interest in it starts. However in 2014 we will still be in the finals race in August so this year I have every confidence the average response will be " what draft'?
  7. Unfortunately I think you will be stuck with me.IMO it will be a miracle if Frawley stays. In his shoes would you?
  8. Now the first thing is DF you need to get a fixture in front of you. You will then notice that on June 22nd North play the dees at the MCG. The only thing wrong with this games is it is Sunday afternoon. What you need to remember is that if the Dees play out of their skins this year we will IMO win approx. six games. If you leave out all NON MCG games the chance of seeing a win will be rare. Go back to my original five games. All at the G IMO they will be the best ones to go to. first two we have a rough chance of a win. The other three give you the opportunity to see the Dees play a side that will display how the game should be played.
  9. I pretty much share your view Mb. Yes we are starting as the worst performed club for the last six years particularly the last two.
  10. Seriously doubt it but you will see a good side play well
  11. The surprising thing to me was that Roos was surprise at depth of the morale problem. Six wins out of 44 and numerous multiple goal thrashing would suggest to me they would be as low as snakes belly in a wagon rut.
  12. This has occurred to me for some time Mr Leg.Perhaps I should move to the hawks it might be just the thing to get them on the right track!
  13. I have a suspion you may be correct.
  14. Well I don't know about you Redleg but I was barracking for the blues. Never really in it I am afraid.
  15. Here is my list DF now remember I have only picked Games at the "G" Games we have a chance of winning May 10 - Bulldogs August 17 GWS Games to see a good side that will play AFL very well. April 26 - Swans June 22 - North July 12 - Cats I thought about Queens birthday but Airfares will be high, G will be packed with Pies, You will be so high in the top tier you will need your own oxygen and you don't want to see us get done by the Pies. Now watch everyone fall on me for those suggestions
  16. Moonshadow in the first two quarters I thought Frawley was easily the best backman on both sides. Like you I hope he stays.
  17. Collingwood was not far from their seconds team that night. Under Neeld we won two practice matches the rest were comprehensive losses. Guess what all but about eight out of 44 season games were comprehensive losses. So I am not sure I agree with you totally rpfc. in 2012- 3 we were poor in practice games and main season games. There is a pattern there as far as I can see. IMO better form in our practice matches will be a good sign for me in 2014.
  18. I don't think Dawes is out of things just yet, He looked to be moving very well in the drills before the match started. I was surprised he did not play today. Still a chance in my book.
  19. Went for the first half today Redleg. Patience is the order of 2014.
  20. I was there for the first half TT5 and I pretty much agree with you. I will say however that the mid field will be better than the last two years. Now I know that is not saying much but I think we have improved in that area. That should mean more forward entrees and hopefully more scoring. I think we have to remember this is I think only the second real Game under Roos. Patience is in order for 2014
