As soon as it became a game sponsored by hundreds of $millions Redleg it was invertible IMO.Between the crappy look of the game, the politics and our poor performance of the MFC I have lost a lot of interest. I go to MFC games watch a few on TV and that is it. The days of going to other games and watching a game not involving a the MFC are gone for me. If the MFC fell over tomorrow I would have nothing to do with AFL at the top level. Amos would then be my Footy fix. Top level Football is now a business who's major focus is on making money. the fans run a bad second to that.

After the last decade of MFC Maldonboy I enjoy going to a game where - you go expecting a break even chance of winning - despite the quality drop you are close to the game and enjoy the football. There is football joy away from the MFC.
