The players union won't go for that nutbean.100% for all no matter your ability. How on Earth should the MFC have had to pay 95% of the same amount as Hawthorn. On the basis that we were not even competitive in 2013 should we be paying that figure. It should be up to the club how much they pay if that is 70% so be it. But the union won't allow that .

Sorry dc either I put it badly ( probably ) or you missed my drift. I was suggesting the Dees had 18 byes PA as we only turned up for 3 -4 games PA.

Best I can see with the current list jr. They have shown us their true worth this year. It will take that long to get better players IMO

Rubbish we get smashed by Geelong no matter when or where we play them.

Re a good second half gss I bristle at these comments like the one about an honourable loss.the game was over at half time and we lost by 11 goals. Just another poor performance against Geelong who have been pounding us for a decade. We are now competitive with the bottom six sides so I guess it is better than the last two years. We are destined to finish last or second last there is still a very long way to go IMO.

Nut bean four were directly in front at about 30 metres not one of them went close.I stay with we were lucky they kicked poorly or it would have been 15 goals. The game was over half way through the second quarter.
