I have said this before but over the last decade it was obvious that our list was VFL standard. I keep saying and I knew we were going nowhere fast until we made substantial changes to the list. Now people saw that as negative i saw it as reality. Substantial change has happened and while we still have holes we now have a list that is AFL standard. My feeling is we are currently a mid ladder team. We have a list that is capable most weeks of taking the fight to the opposition. Now that is a hell of improvement on 2012.

You have to get your mind around a new idea Gorgoroth We are now a reasonable side that is going to regulaerly win games. Not all of them but we will win 10+ this year and more next year. The big difference is we have an AFL quality list now. What the media says will have no bearing on how we play. We are not the easy beats any longer ( well most weeks )

There is a problem with this idea CBD I suggest to you that 99% of people who go to watch the Dees at present are members. We may have more supporters but they seldom go to games so they will not buy after a game. WE need to expand the base to get over 40, 000 members so the secret not that it is really a secret is to win games and play finals. People like to belong to a successful team. What we have now is close to the total for 2016. Keep winning this year and start 2017 well and the numbers will go past 40 000.

We have always had trouble picking a red that looks red DC. we had pink and orange jumpers for about five years not so long back. seems like every year we wear the traditional jumper less and less. The way it is heading we will have a different jumper every week currently the number is four different designs. I wonder what we are wearing in June?
