I had a conversation in the last hour with a friend who is responsible for looking after all things insurance for the company were he works. He has held this position at three company over the last 20 years. He says that he has never heard of a company having insurance to cover the costs of an employee suing someone who they feel has wrong them. He has had a case where the company agreed to cover the legal costs of an employee before the action was started but that was the company paying not the insurance company. In his words this is Company insurance 101. You are covered for people suing you end of story. But I guess the normal rules don't apply to Demigods.

Well 24 hours after the injury dc you will be pleased to know that I am progressing well with my recovery program. Walking this morning without pain but still a tender knee cap. I am confident I will be fit for the match before the end of the week.

Well I have had a fairly ordinary weekend. i am off overseas later this week and had a few things to do before leaving. No problem I told my wife going the footy Saturday which leaves Sunday. so Saturday was an unmitigated disaster. However after a cheerie evening with my GD I rose early today to get the jobs done. Then tripped in the kitchen fell onto my left knee on the hard floor. i actually thought I had broken my leg. But after a visit to the doctor I have a severely bruise knee cap. so no work done today and some how I have to squeeze it in with a crook leg this week. oh the joy of a MFC supporter.

For months I have been saying he is a junior footballer who had not yet played one game at AFL level. So he has three good games at Casey, two of which were against very poor VFL sides and all of a sudden he is brownlow material and is in the Senior side. From my part of the ground he did two nice things and the rest of the time he look like a rabbit caught in the spot light. But hell it is his first game. He deserves a bit longer before I declare him the next Tompas.
