IMO Maurie it will depend on how long it takes the AFL to come to a decision. The day the decision is announced the thread will die. But who knows CW will no doubt have found something else to nail to us by then.

I guess I am just over 2012 Biffen but when did we last have a year that was not mired in incompetance? The MFC seems to lurch from one disaster to the next. I look forward to a year when all we have to consider is the quality of our playing stocks. As the 2012 year draws to a close the next thing on the agenda is will we be kicked in the guts because we could not even tank well. If it was raining soup the MFC would be standing there with a fork. Can the AFL please do whatever they have to do with our tanking and lets get on with it. Please Mr. D make a decision and lets move into 2013 with all this crap of 2012 behind us.

Just got back from a week on the gold coast with my wife, Daughter and Grand Daughter had a lot of fun. Snuck a look a couple of times at Demonland. What a bunch of Depression. On now and the first eight threads are doom and dire statements about the tanking episodes. The MFC is just depressing for me at present, what a shambles this club is at times. Paid my 2013 membership a couple of weeks back but the way things look that maybe it for me over 2013. I have a bad feeling about all this crap. Surely there are better ways to spend 2013. DEPRESSING I am at the who cares stage

Sorry Redleg you are right re Jurrah but in the end he left us. I could never understand why Bennel got so many games, two FD's kept thinking he would turn the corner I think. In 2012 he average 6 positions a game, the guy was very ordinary in 50 of his 60 games, Petterd smilarly had a a hand full of good games. It says lots that no AFL side was interested in Petterd, Bennell, Bate at any price. with Bate they did not even have to make a deal, he could have just walk into whatever club wanted him.

Not one of them was AFL standard Redleg. They helped make the Dees uncompetitive in 2012 Goodbye and lets get on with it.

Well yesterday might have been flat but all action today. Finding it hard to disagree with anything the new FD has done. We have not been competitive for 18 months so big changes were needed. More to come in 2013 I would suggest. Feel quite cheerful today. Go Dees

Fairly busy tomorrow Redleg so around this time will be exciting you think? In actual fact I really don't care much from here if a trade happens good if not then IMO we have don't quite a bit so far. At the very least we have changed some of the cattle. Our current position was created over a decade I don't expect a solution in one year If we win 6 games against the top 15 sides and reduce the thrashing to a few I will be happy with the results of this trade period. Onward and upward from here.
