We can be positive that Spencer would take more overhead marks than Dawes and he would definately be better in the ruck. Spencer in Dawes out.

Probably yes but the point is there are often things that have to be done AM Saturday and Sunday which then makes it hard to get to the start of the game. As I said each to his own but the 1pm games are my least favourite.

Right now that seems like a life time away. I will just have to concentrate on the mystifying player selections of 2016

The problem is iv'a that there is more to my life than games of football. 1.10 starts are the pits IMO but each to his own. Last Saturday I had an important engagement at 11.00 that finished at approx. 12 add in the weather was less than wonderful and we were playing the Hawks with little chance of success so it became a TV / radio game for me. If it had been a 4pm game I would have gone.

KDA I thought you would have realised by now that AFL has one prime objective and that is to raise the maximum amount of money available. Everything else runs a very bad second. They are about token themes and games to cover up their many failings. North is the only part of the AFL that can hold its head high as far as gambling monies goes.

I tend to agree with you stuie. That phrase above could mean he was the worst player in the team.

But when? A week at Casey is in order IMO. he is beginning to look like the Carlton Garlett. one good game and three very average ones.

Take your pick BB there are three or four alternatives. however I think Grimes now can play elsewhere. after losses to anyone who is going to play finals there are plenty of possibilities.

Do you think he was in the top ten players for the Dees Dante? I doubt it but he might have sneaked into 10th. I have no other desire than for him to be very good but after two years off the field I think quite rightly he put in an average first game. I would have been astounded if he had been more than that.
